The Ellis Inn is by far one of the most beautiful and special B&B’s we’ve ever stayed in. We booked it for its location and honestly didn’t know much about the place before we arrived. We were absolutely WOW-ed ! The home is stunning, large, and full of amenities. Next time, we’ll take advantage of the pool and the hot tub. There is a pool table and bar in the main living room. The living room is stunning and it’s walnut wood walls are just gorgeous. The basement houses a gym, a playroom for kids and a game room with air hockey and a foos ball table- you honestly don’t need to leave the place! The house has so many fun nooks and crannies to explore. Our bedroom was tastefully decorated and everything was well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower with it’s big rain head gets two thumbs up.Tim and Paula were thoughtful and gracious hosts who have really thought of everything. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was really good too. The Ellis Inn would be a perfect venue for a small wedding or affair. Last thing I have to mention is that the inn is absolutely IMMACULATE. We will definitely return to...

What a surprise treat! We hadn't stayed at a B&B in almost two decades and decided to try one again. We hit the jackpot. You forget you're guests and have just met Paula and Tim. They were so helpful in so many ways... We were on a mini-vacation to go biking and they helped us with all sorts of aspects of this, helping to make our plans better and more workable. We had thought we were staying closer to Burlington, but it worked out anyway: Paula and Tim recommended we start our biking at Mallet's Bay, and get onto the Lake Champlain Causeway from there, to the Local Motion Ferry, which we did, and it was really a good call. We did that route, then came back and biked south, to the Starr Farm Beach and back. The next day we drove to Burlington and rode south from there, and back. Our room... Our room was so comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious (quiche, fresh fruit salad...) and I would sit and have mine in the 3-seasons room, with the hummingbirds just outside the door. I could go on and on. The photos are very accurate but add that the feeling inside is very warm and comfy. Thank you,...

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Ellis Inn last month. Gorgeous flowers were in full bloom everywhere we looked and the Ellis family were warm and welcoming. A tour of their lovely Inn showed us the love and care they put in to ensure their guests have a truly enjoyable and memorable stay with them. You can surely spread out and will enjoy exploring all that the inn has to offer for people of all ages. We were in Colchester to celebrate the birthdays for two family members and the beautiful and very well-equipped pool house overlooking the sparkling pool provided a wonderful spot to host friends and family. When the party was over, our family headed to the patio where we spent the evening relaxing by the fire pit or enjoying a soak in the hot tub. After a wonderful night's rest, we headed down to breakfast. Everything was delicious! The "old family recipe" cinnamon bread that was served along with breakfast was a big hit and was very much enjoyed by all of us. We wish Paula, Tim, Jesica and Trevor much success with their new Bed and Breakfast. We will...

This was our first time at The Ellis Inn and it was PERFECT! Everything was delightful!!! The innkeepers are all so friendly and inviting. They were very helpful to us, suggesting places to visit, as we were not at all familiar with the area. We stayed in the Gray Room which had a lovely private balcony which overlooks a serene garden with a koi pond and small waterfall. We enjoyed sitting on the swing and on the rocking chairs each morning and each night. The king bed was very, very comfortable. My husband and I slept very well during our stay. We were able to take advantage of the pool during our stay over Memorial Day weekend. Beautiful pool and areas to rest. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Everything about this inn was wonderful. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast! Thank you to Tim, Paula, Trevor and Jessica for your gracious hospitality and for making our stay in Vermont a truly memorable one!

The Ellis Inn is a delightful gem with homemade, excellent breakfasts and spotless, comfortable rooms featuring newly renovated bathrooms. The property is full of surprises—from beautiful landscaping to soft music playing throughout the palatial home, which is filled with cozy nooks perfect for reading, working, or playing games. Amenities abound, including a pool table, bar, board games, swimming pool, and hot tub, all in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and warm, making you feel right at home. While Burlington is just a short drive away for dinner, there’s plenty to enjoy right at the inn. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I came for one night not knowing it was a bed and breakfast!! (we made the reservation quite quickly) we were both thrilled when we walked in to the warmest welcome in this stunning home. the breakfast was lovely (pancakes, bacon, and a yoghurt parfait), and the fellow guests we were with were nice to chat with. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, as there’s so much to do in this beautiful home 💕 We stayed in the green room, which was stunning and comfortable. Everything about this stay felt like home, and we can’t wait to go back :)
