We got married here in January 2021, and I am finally getting a chance to write our review. Everything from the first contact to the quote to the time we drove out of the venue was nothing short of phenomenal! Our first contact for pricing, they were professional and completely upfront about any costs, which were more than reasonable. They have many package options and customize them for each person. Ginger was great at following up with us while we were trying to figure everything out and not being pushy. Personally, I loved that I could text her for almost everything! They were flexible all along the way. They worked with our financial timeline and helped us get everything together in a matter of months. The day of, Lisa was great and helped with everything and checked in on us many times during the day. While there were a couple of hiccups, she handled them professionally and quickly. Before we even knew there was an issue, she already had a solution! She helped more than what was in our contract, and made sure we were accommodated and happy with every single thing. They also have games like giant jenga and cornhole (I think), which was so helpful for the kids at the reception, and a borrowing closet to help with decorating, which was really nice not to have to buy all those things for one day. The cabin we stayed in (Mexico), was amazing! Clean, cute, and completely stocked with anything we could need. The sheets were the most amazing, soft sheets that I have ever slept on! We got the cabin early also! Check in/ check out was so easy! We forgot to get our marriage license signed, so on our way out, we stopped at the office and Lisa actually came back up to bring my bouquet that I forgot in the cabin. The service was more than I could've imagined! The venue is beautiful! Everything was great and if I could give them more stars I would! I actually have no areas for improvement for...
Read moreOur wedding was a dream come true. I was nervous and emotional throughout the entire process, especially with an all inclusive venue, but there wasn't a single time that the 7F team left me alone to worry, I even got teary eyed during a meeting and Ginger gave me a tissue, allowing me a safe place to cry. I will never forget that act of kindness.
You can tell this team is experienced in all things wedding and hosting, and that they treat every wedding and client personally. Again, I wasn't sure how to give full reign to a team, but they honored their word every step of the way, even when we had concerns with some day of execution from a vendor. That is extremely important when reviewing a venue because you want to rest assured that they will advocate for their clients which 7F definitely did for us.
They offered assurance, resources, and constant contact during planning, and EXCEEDED expectations when it came to execution. Their communication loop is user friendly and provides a perfect place for document storage. They have a friendly timeline and make sure to reach out to keep planning on track.
The venue is stunning, with plenty to look at, the chapel and pavilion provided such a thoughtful and intimate atmosphere even though our wedding was large. The lodging was FANTASTIC with 8 beautifully unique rooms filled with tasty snacks which made our wedding even that more memorable. I hired a personal wedding planner that their team worked amazing with, and they truly gave me autonomy to provide my vision. Everything we wanted in a wedding they were able to provide, confetti cannons, marquee letters, catering, full service bar, AND MORE!
I could go on and on, but trust this review, if you are stuck between venues or aren't sure if an all inclusive is for you, choose 7F. 7F is amazing and you will...
Read moreI would recommend 7F Lodge 100%!
The cost of this venue was very reasonable for what came in the wedding package. There were no surprise charges at any stage of the event. Ginger and Lisa were very accomadating in helping every step of the way. They offered excellent advice when we had questions. They were flexible when we had change-of-mind decisions. We were fortunate to be outside of all the COVID restrictions, which allowed for more choice options.
I do recommend that you reserve the facilties the day before your wedding. It helped settle the pre-wedding jitters plus we were able to get so much done. We had the rehersal dinner at 7F also.
Using the 7F recommended vendors saved on any hastle. 7F handled the details and the food was great! We used the cake vendors as well. We had the 4 tier wedding cake and a groom's cake. We had cake happy guest because we did not have any grooms cake lest and only half the bottom tier of the wedding cake left.
We reserved a cabin for the girls and a cabin for the guys on the night of the rehersal. That worked out perfectly. No traveling for the wedding party after the rehersal dinner. They were safe walking to their cabins. We did reserve the guy's cabin an extra night which was the night of the wedding as a "just in case" option and it was used because there were a few that needed it. Oh and the Sully's cabin, which was used by the guys was where they got ready for the wedding. The dads were able to get ready their too. The bridal party enjoyed the Sunday house on the day of the wedding.
Now that the wedding is over, there isn't anything I wish we would have done differently. The wedding turned out exactly has they dreamed it would!
Thank you 7F -...
