It is extremely over priced for what it is. When I got out of my vehicle, there was an over powering stench of something dead nearby. Even after checking in for 1 night ($58 & change) and drove half way down the side of the motel, the overpowering stench was even more distinct (how I am not sure), however once I closed the door to my room and turned on the a.c. it was ok. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab but the pillow was soft! And as I was placed in the very Middle room, I was woken up numerous times from slamming doors, loud music, and just general loud noises from other people. As such my sleep was constantly interrupted, not restful and general had me in a bad mood. The main reason I am not giving this place 2 stars instead of the 1 star is because the owner made such a HUGE deal about no dogs (or pets for that matter) being allowed. Now my dog is wearing a $140.00 service dog vest identifying her as a disabled veteran service dog / hearing dog as she signals me if someone if talking on my right side plus prevents people from coming up from behind me without my knowing. I had to educate the owner of the fact that my service dog and travels everywhere I do including planes and that if the owner continued with his policy of not allowing my dog to be in the motel with me, that the owner would be in violation of the American Disability Act. At which point of making a HUGE showing of how he was going to allow me to have my dog with me this time. If I had not been so exhausted, I would have left and found different lodging!! Also, I wish to give this tidbit of advice..... If you do happen to stay there, DO NOT order food from the Mexican restraunt next door as I got food poisoning from their food. Fortunately for me, I offered. Bite of my food to my service dog, she sniffed it then pushed it away with her nose. When I saw that, I immediately t grew my food away due to a different type of...
Read moreThe beds are hard and it looks like it may be extended stay for some of the Hispanic folks in the area. There is a basketball court right by the front door and there was a pickup game going on when we got there at 8. I will say not the most welcoming. I’m thank this is a father son trip and my wife wasn’t with us, she would NOT have approved. Once in the room and settled for the night the room is quiet and dark. The AC works really well, we turned it down to 60 when we went to eat and when we got back it was 63. The beds are hard and the pillows thin, but for 70$tt&l out the door not bad. For the most part everything was clean, only thing we found was there were a couple of dead flies in the window. Also, in case it matters to you, this is Indian (not native) run.||All in all if passing through we (my son and I not with my wife) would...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE !!! First off they will price gouge you if you let them. While taking my 71 year old mother to put her sister to rest in Texas I had the unfortunate experience of meeting the woman at the desk and her “ handy man” of a husband, who put together our Frankenstein room and oh next to the back of a random Mexican food restaurant which had SWORMS of BUGS!!! and flys flying around no less. He was literally working all night on a room close to where we were attempting to sleep…key word “attempting” because not long after 3 police officers were in the parking lot trying to calm down a women who’s frantically screaming about stolen goods. I travel for work all the time and do not stay in the best of hotels sometimes… But definitely nothing this bad! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Go down the road 5 min there are way better...
