We stayed in a cute Delux Cabin which was 400 sq ft, and handicap accessible. It was cabin number 9. The other Delux Cabin’s we noticed were much smaller at 224 sq feet.
Also, we noticed that the cabin’s had guests on one side of the cabin and then another set of guests on the back side of the cabin, so they shared a wall.
So there were two families sharing one cabin. But in the handicap accessible cabin there was no shared wall. And we had the entire cabin to ourselves.
With that said the location was very quiet for us with beautiful views of the country side.
Pros: the location is close to a lot of sites in Montana. Glacier National Park, Hungry Horse, Whitefish, Flathead Lake, Kalispell. Driving around is easy, because there is no traffic anywhere. Hungry Horse has a fabulous breakfast place at Carolyn’s cafe. Homemade biscuits and gravy and fabulous French toast.
We also had a delicious breakfast in Kalipsell at The Knead Cafe. And a fabulous Japanese dinner at the Blue Samuri.
Also, a nice surprise driving around Flathead lake was the delicious fresh washed sweet cherries people were selling at cherry stands.
Now back to the cabin, the Bed was very comfortable. I loved it. I wonder what kind it was? Because we had a good night’s sleep on it.
The cabin was very clean, it had blackout curtains, but a little bit of light leaked through the curtain grommets which was totally fine.
The air conditioning worked great. And it was a hot week the week we were there.
The refrigerator had 2 bottles of water in it, which was much appreciated, as it was a hot week in Montana the week we were there. A Kerig coffee maker was appreciated. And there was a microwave.
The cabin also had lots of towels and extra pillows. Having a smart TV was also a nice touch.
The handicap cabin also had a small table with 2 wooden chairs so we had a place to look at maps and our laptop, and put our things.
Wi-Fi was free. And we parked right in front of our cabin. The check in process was very easy over texts.
Having two luggage racks was a nice touch as well.
Cons: 1) There are no nightstands to put a bottle of water or glasses. Having some TV trays in each cabin would be beneficial to have a place to put a drink while sitting on the couch, or using as a nightstand when needed. We borrowed my father-in-law’s TV trays and that helped.
There is no place to hang clothes. In the handicap cabin there is plenty of space to put hooks or something to be able to hang clothes. The bathroom is big and has room for hooks and a small chest of drawers.
There are no chest of drawers of any kind. And there is space for them, at least in the handicap Cabin there is space.
The handicap shower, had a shower curtain, but water leaked out into the floor space past the curtain. So the bath mat was soaked with each shower. Not sure how to remedy that.
Would I stay here again? I am not sure. I really liked the place, the location and the privacy, but not having night stands or a place to put away clothes, or hang clothes will make me think twice about staying at a hotel rather than a cabin. Because the cost was about the same.
If those issues were remedied I would stay in the cabin again, if not, probably not. Don’t get me wrong, the cabin was wonderful, location was beautiful, it just missed a few finishing touches to make a stay a bit more...

Read moreAwesome small cabin for our long weekend stay! We wanted the whole experience on our trip to Glacier National Park, so we opted for a cabin over a hotel. It took us about 25 minutes to drive to the West Entrance of the park, which wasn't bad at all. The cabin was tidy and clean upon our arrival. Each cabin has its own parking spot, which we liked. There was also complimentary coffee and a couple of water bottles provided. We needed silverware at one point, but just got some at the local convenience store. We also requested extra towels the first day and Mitch brought them over within minutes to us and had told us ahead of time that if we needed towels or garbage service just to give him a call as the property is completely contact-free due to covid-19. The beds were super comfy and the cabin was the perfect size for a couple for a long weekend getaway! Mitch also stopped by before we checked out to ask about our stay, which was super thoughtful. Would recommend and would stay here again!
I didn't realize the cabins were half cabins and there were guests staying on the other side of us (only for a night I think). We heard the other guests at some points, but when we turned the air conditioner on we couldn't hear a thing! Not a complaint or anything that bothered us, just a heads up for someone with different...
