We absolutely loved our stay at Farmstead!Adorable little cabin. Staying in a tiny home was something I have always been interested in trying. The loft is really fun and cozy to sleep. I don't fish but you could fish if you wanted. All Basics were provided, cooking pots, pans, gorgeous dishes, knives, dish soap, towels, cable, fireplace, lighter, tin foil, very comfortable firm bed, skylights up in the loft, chandelier lights, fireplace was awesome .Fully functionally designed kitchen, books, games, cards, very cute decor, .BBQ grill was outside, and I really liked the locking feature by code in the door, was easier to get in and out I think and I didn't have to worry about a key. So many windows and lots of air and light The kids had a blast playing around and feeding the farm animals. Excellent communication with the property owner/builder. Staffs are very helpful and kind, and we learned so much about the animals from them, not to mention got to help feed them . We were trying to explore the place most of the time .Did bonfires at night and just enjoyed the peaceful nature. The cabin itself is so well stocked and has everything you need. The cabin was clean and it had everything we needed to make a nice dinner and get a restful night's sleep. Would highly recommend this tiny house. Will Definitely be...
Read moreAbout a month or so ago we stayed at The Farmstead at Mill Spring, the brand new tiny home community that is such a wonderful place. As a whole family we spent a weekend full of adventure, fun, and relaxation there. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. The tiny homes had everything we could ever ask for including towels, toiletries, kitchenware, coffee, and much more. Comfortable beds and well laid out rooms made our stay truly a bliss. As the name indicates, the tiny home community is a working farm and it was wonderful to see it in action, participating in learning about the various animals, and about all of nature’s provisions through their garden. In the evenings we enjoyed s’mores by the fire and endless night skies with brightly star studded views. Simply amazing! We love how close it is to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and many other attractions in the area. So go check it out yourself or even with a group of friends and I promise you won’t be...
Read moreWe were in the last tiny cabin and it was beautiful and VERY clean, but we had no table to eat at, or sit at or grill outside to cook on. When we tried to use the toaster oven inside, it would trip the power to the whole cabin, so we would have to go outside and flip it back on. I ended up throwing all of our food that we were trying to cook in the trash. There was a big pile of gravel in front of our cabin in place of the table and grill which is understandable with them adding more, but there was plenty of room for a grill and a table to sit at and enjoy nature. We were the only cabin without them and were very disappointed. Also, If you have any kind of disability with mobility issues, do not book if you want to walk the property and see the animals. It's a beautiful place but EVERYTHING is on a hill and fenced in and drive a truck or SUV! I was very...
