Camp Blanton — Hotel in Contiguous United States

Attended my niece's wedding in August. The venue was nice. I think the layout of the outdoor wedding area could have been setup better to conceal the bridal party from the guests. Because it is all open. You literally can see the bridesmaids and bride before they even come down the aisle. The rooms that the bridal party gets ready in, is not close to the actual area that the ceremony is performed. So it's not the most convenient. I think they need to consider changing the outdoor area to a different spot. Otherwise the reception hall was great. Very nice area with a large kitchen. It would be difficult to accommodate a really large group in the reception hall because of its size. It's more for a small wedding and/or not a lot of guests. The grounds of the camp are beautiful! One of the most beautiful places I’ve hiked in Kentucky. The hike was a little difficult for us since we only hike once in a while, but difficult because it’s pretty much uphill a lot of the ways. I loved the beauty of the camp. However, I am not very pleased with the management and how they did the most recent caretaker of the camp. Let it be known that it is not right to withhold stuff and fire the way you did, especially when they have kept the place looking very inviting.
