Gosh, where do I start, lol? Been camping here yearly since 2004. This is a lovely grass roots camp. 49 tent sites with no pull throughs, some with shade, all with table and firepit. The present camp host, Rich, and his lovely better half, Ruth, are most effecient, and kind of heart. Caring about the flora and fauna, and running a tight, and humane ship. Two bathrooms, covid cleaned almist daily depending on site capacity. Wifi is spotty, but available. Showers are 5 per person, available through the marina store or motel. Be aware, hours here are on AZ time. Keep your camp buttoned up, the wildlife is amazing. And the beach, with sectioned swimming area is a short/walk...

Small campground yet well-tended. Most people respect the area and keep it clean. Basic restrooms, ADA compliant. The water is always chilly which is nice during the super hot summers, but not great during the cold months. It gets super windy in this area so make sure you bring proper anchoring for your tents and such. Charcoal grills are available, as are picnic tables under a pavilion. The marina is nice enough. Basic walkways to boat parking. Birds everywhere, carp will come up to the surface to say hi. All in all its a decent place to camp, play, etc if you want to...

2 stars because of the PEOPLE who go here. No one follows the rules! Every one takes their dog. don’t clean up after them. Let alone obey the leash law. (Just because your dog doesn’t bite you, doesn’t mean it won’t bite others(or someone else’s dog)) Leaves trash everywhere. Always something floating in the water empty bag or a soda or a beer can. Broken glass. Feeds wild animals(ducks). And the Park rangers do nothing about it!! (And then they question why nobody respects any of the national parks now)

This would be a great place if the people would follow...

Absolutely beautiful setting by the Colorado River! The drive from Searchlight is in itself breathtaking. Got here on an off-season day and was welcomed by everyone I met. Close to Vegas and nice road all the way. Brought my travel trailer , got a nice spot and professional assistance parking it from Chris who runs the camping. This is a very relaxed , beautiful and friendly place!

2 first come first served spots and the rest are reservation only. Bathrooms nearby and the beach is around the corner from that. 0ark officials were friendly. Not a lot of trees for overhang so bring a pop-up. $10/night for seniors and $20/night for everyone else.

Very nice area. The river is clean, the water was warm, there is an area for camping. There is also a ramp for water ski, boats any watercraft. There is a booth at the entrance but no ranger on site to collect any fees. Also, there is WiFi.
