Knights Inn Bunkie — Hotel in Bunkie

I am more than disappointed in my experience here. It’s my first time here and probably my last. When I got here the TV did not work, I had no chair in the room, and the room was hot as blazes. Then this morning when I go down for breakfast at 15 minutes after five, all they had was coffee so I went to the front desk and asked her when they would put out the breakfast. She said it’s already been put out and everybody’s eaten already. Well there’s no way you’re going to convince me you put out a good amount of breakfast and in 15 minutes later everything is gone except coffee. I told her I would be contacting the motel manager and she said OK very aloof couldn’t care less and not concerned I told her you see this ex you can mark this is my first time in my last time that I’ll ever be here and I will not be recommending this place to any of my friends. The lady yesterday was so sweet. It was not even believable. I got here, two in the afternoon, and that lady was absolutely amazing. She took care of everything I needed smiled and was more than helpful. The one sitting at the front desk this morning she just go play somewhere else and not even call herself a front desk clerk. She could care less about the guest And everything. I said she responded OK very aloof very nonchalant and couldn’t care less. I don’t like being treated this way to a motel. I would very much like the manager or the owner to call me. I will be leaving my name and phone number at the front desk. But to be treated the way I was by that front desk clerk on Christmas morning is inexcusable. This motel should have no one with that kind of attitude working that...

On May 4 our son got married in Bunkie and we needed a hotel to accommodate our family. My husband and I went a few times before the wedding to see what we had to do to book rooms (in which we booked the whole bottom floor and a few rooms on the second floor) and the staff were awesome in helping us get it together for the big day. On the weekend of the wedding we arrived on Thursday to set things up and the staff went over and beyond in helping us. I had gift baskets for the wedding guest in which I would present to each guest when they arrive and the staff took over and put them in the rooms when they were ready, in which that gave me time do other things. We cooked a dinner for the our guest on Saturday "The Wedding Day" and they allowed us to cook outside by the pool, which was kind of them. We had a problem with smoke smell in one of the rooms and that was immediately taken care of. There was always someone with housekeeping there if we were in need. There was enough food for the continental breakfast for the whole weekend and they even allowed me to bring in bananas and strawberries. For a small town hotel this is a place I would come back to when coming to Bunkie which will be often. For staying there 4 days I have not anything bad to say regarding my stay. The staff was great and nice except two workers one at the front desk and there manager we stayed for 9 weeks and 4 days and didn’t have a problem till the last week with them two I stayed in 5 different rooms first one was nice but small but I was waiting on the room across the hall it was two rooms we got in that room and not long after the ceiling was leaking so moved to another small room waiting on another big room to open I was hoping that be my last room but it wasn’t I was in that room 5 weeks then went to pay for the next week and she billed me for 5 days instead of seven so I asked why she said I will have to change rooms cause there was a reservation for the weekend so we moved again once in the next room I cleaned it like all the others before I let my kid in the bathroom while cleaning it she came in the bathroom with a needle thank god the needle was covered went to the front desk lady acted like it was no big deal and normal so we found another motel to stay at as soon as we could sadly two workers over all made that motel uncomfortable for me to ever think of referring that place sadly the other nice and helpful workers have to work there with these two also the last room had a roach infestation up stairs none in any of the other rooms that I seen and the manager acted like that was no...
