If Your A Big Mexican Family Looking To Have Fun… Don’t Not Book Here!!! My family & I stayed here for our annual summer vacation. First off the house and location was amazing. Not far from the river or lake. The beds were very comfortable and each room has its own bathroom. The pool and hot tub were a big hit. The only thing was the owners do live on the property. Our first night we did have music playing while we bbqed and enjoying the pool but it bothered the owner (wife) and she came down to complain not once but twice. This happened before 9pm.It states in their own house rules that by 10pm no music should be playing. Any time we were outside she was watching us from her balcony or windows. On our second day she turn the wifi off in the house but my sister had her back up wifi so we were good. On the last day the wifi started working again. We will never book here again because of her. We were just trying to have a good time w/our loved ones and she killed the vibe.
Hmmm… but texted when we left that the house was left in great condition. By the way no kids were left unattended. There was always adults outside. Omg we filled up 4 trash cans boo who 😭. This place is not for kids. Should have just stayed a Bed & Breakfast for adults if y’all don’t like kids. Make sure if you stay here you whisper or stay quiet cause the so called neighbors will...
Read moreThe Lazy H was the choice of one of our travel mates for our annual Labor Day couples trip and my first experience in a bed and breakfast. I was hoping for the best but I thought it may be uncomfortable and awkward staying in another persons home. Happily, it was entirely the opposite. We were greeted by Rex despite our near midnight and later than anticipated arrival. We found the rooms to be clean, well maintained and cozy with each uniquely decorated. Breakfast was served at our leisure with each days menu different. Rex and Kathy were around whenever you needed them but never intrusive. The location was perfect for our planned excursions ... tubing on The Guadalupe River, Gruene Hall visit, and jaunt to Austin for a night of music. The property is filled with many places to land for a night cap from the back porch to the backyard bar area complete with swings. The Lazy H was beyond comfortable and...
Read moreWhat a hidden gem. The scenery, comfort and hospitality can not be matched. Begin the day with a delicious breakfast cooked to perfection while soothing tranquil music plays softly in the background. It puts you in the perfect mood to enjoy your relaxing day at the wineries, floating the river or boating on the lake. You come back to relax in beautifully decorated and immaculately cleaned rooms. The owners have made sure the guests are comfortable and have all the comforts of home. At night time you can hang out by the fire, chill out in the small sitting pool, swing and socialize in the pavilion or have a little private dance on the dance floor as the trees are illuminated by romantic lights. This was my first time at a B&B and it surpassed my expectations. Thank you Rex and Kathy for your hospitality and we look forward to seeing you both again on our next trip to New...
