But for context if you care for more details: As a recent grad, I’m getting my first place which inevitably comes with furniture. So I stubbled into this Mattress Firm completely doe eyed and disoriented. And to look confident I started walking in the first direction that met my gaze. Pete being the wonderful saint that he is approached me and began take notes on the things I wanted. In a flash, he came out with a pillow and escorted me to a bed. As a first time experience, I felt very guided and though I was weary of being taken advantage of Pete very quickly proved himself to be candid and honest. He did his very best to get me what I wanted on a modest dime. At the end Pete, helped me get even more savings and gave me a lot of wisdom in the form of many stories. He very smoothly led us to an associate, Michael, who continued to give us excellent energetic service. Overall, it was a really nice experience. I would highly recommend even just going to this specific...

We went to Mattress Firm for a warranty claim (replacement of a mattress). We told the salesman we were there for a warranty claim and he was very kind and helpful as we browsed and looked at the different options - giving good info without hovering. 🙌 He gave us pricing and said it would include the discount and a couple other promos (bonus!). After sitting down and reading through the warranty claim, though, he realized it actually didn’t allow for the extra promos BUT he would honor his word and give us the extra promos. We were super excited about that! Only thing left was for us to confirm a king or queen size (we had to go measure). He typed up the quote for us so we could take a picture of it and bring it back stating the cost and promos…but when we went back the next week he said the manager wouldn’t allow him to honor his word because there wouldn’t be any profit. I asked if we got a different more expensive brand if that would help with the profit side. Nope. Super bummer because we got all excited for the adjustable base, haha. I didn’t feel like fighting it…but apparently we should’ve just bought it the previous week and we would’ve had a cool base. 🫠 BUT still give 4 stars because the guys there were nice and helpful...

I first want to say the store experience of picking out the mattress was completely fine and went smoothly, if this was based on that only, 5 stars

The issues all came in the delivery. First I had to wait 2 weeks for the mattress and the only reason I knew it came in was because I called to hassle, no reach out from them.

Then comes delivery day they send a giant truck to Capitol Hill and the driver can only get so close, he says. Wont drive down the alley, wouldn't try to find somewhere close and refused to carry the mattress down the alley to my apartment. Basically said he wouldn't do it and told me to call Mattress Firm

Then I call Mattress Firm to figure out what to do. Their associate's solution is for me, yes me, to hire a 3rd party delivery company with a smaller truck to pick it up from their facility and bring it to me... then hopefully bribe them to take away my old mattress, this is the associate at mattress firms idea. What did I pay you guys for? you can sell me a mattress but you need to be able to get it to me.

After all this hassle I will go somewhere that can handle...
