Check in process was a mess. Nobody at the office since it’s was closed when we arrived at 330. Signed said closed at 2pm even though check in wasn’t supposed to be until 4pm.2. After finally figuring out how to get in, we get into our unit which is 87 degree inside with just one tiny ac unit upstairs.3. There was a random piece of plywood and sheet metal left on the back porch area. 4. I wiped the floor with a white towel which quickly turned black.... disgusting how dirty the floor was.5. Carpet clearly hasn’t been professionally cleaned in years.6. There was a spill all over the vinyl on the deck area which was never cleaned before we arrived.7. Top dishwasher rack was broke.... which I fixed enough to actually get it to slide out. 8. Big stain on the fitted sheet of one of the beds. Don’t waste your time with this place. It’s pretty clear that they simply don’t care. I brought all these issues up to multiple people associated with this place and they all basically just brushed them off. I really don’t know how this place has so many good reviews. Take a look at the pics...
Read moreSpent a week at the Mountain View Resort and was amazed at how beautiful the property was. The setting is fantastic with the resort perched on a hill side overlooking a grassy field and tree covered driveway with beautiful scenery all around. The resort gives you the feel of being off the beaten trail but is only minutes away from downtown and everything the area has to offer. The unit we stayed in was very clean and had way more then enough room and the patio area and fireplace in the unit made us feel right at home. Several mornings were spent on the patio having breakfast and enjoying the fresh mountain air and even saw a few deer grazing in the field. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and were able to help us find some amazing trails and activities to do on our vacation. The condo was clean and well kept and had everything we could need or want. Overall our experience was great and would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the mount Washington valley area, the girlfriend and I can’t wait to book...
Read moreA standard studio set up but there was no stove in the kitchen. We went to Walmart and bought a 2 burner hot plate, griddle and a lg and a small pot. That cost less than our first dinner out. We had everything we needed after that. The building is 3 levels. We were in the walk out basement. We had to bring all our stuff down the stairs; then up. I didn't mind the stairs so much, but we'd rather go up than down. We had internet but it was weak and kept dropping out. Lost the cable TV twice. We spent most of our time sleeping on the comfy king size bed, or out so the place was ok for that. The promised pool was down the street a bit at the Eastern Slope Inn. We brought our suits but didnt count on the pool being off site. We never made it there. Overall a good stay. The staff was pleasant and informative. Not what we expected, but over all an ok place to stay. Great location just a couple blocks away from the Main St, and access to travel routes to all the...
