DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! I am a person that usually gives the benefit of the doubt. I want to believe that everyone can be decent and sometimes people have bad days. So, I have given them opportunity to make this right and they have failed tremendously.
We have stayed at this hotel 2 times. 1st time my husband booked it and it was a decent price for the "Suite" we booked. We were only there for one night but we booked a 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds. This suite we booked had a Living area and bedroom are Separated (Which is my definition of a suite) The staff was not welcoming but we had no issues.
We decided to go back to that hotel since the room and price was decent and we didn't plan on spending much time in the room. I booked through Priceline. I selected the photo of the room that looked exactly like the one we stayed in. It said 2 queen bed suite.
When we drove the 5 hours and checked in the front desk lady didn't say anything. She was just looking at me waiting for me to speak. I said i was there to check in. She said "Name" I gave the info and got everything checked in.
We went to the room to see that the room was not a "Suite" It was One room with 2 beds and a bathroom. Nothing more. This wasn't what i booked so I went downstairs to speak with her about this. I told her that about wanting what we had before and how I selected the photo we had before. She said "you booked the ........" I continued to try to tell her how the photo of what i booked was not what I was given and she smacked her lips and rolled her eyes. I then asked what it would cost to get the room we would like. She grunted and smacked her lips again and said she didn't know be cause I booked through a 3rd party. I asked again and she rolled her eyes again. I walked away because it she was not helpful and didn't want to do her job. I told my husband and he wend downstairs to speak with her.
He asked similar questions and got the same attitude and rudeness. They had some words back and forth and we decided to pack up and leave at this time.
WE DID NOT SPEND THE NIGHT THERE!
I contacted Priceline to get a refund due to the issues.
The hotel would only refund the 2nd night and not the 1st night. We went back and forth at least 4 times to find out that the Manager of the hotel would not waive the fees since my 5 year old daughter used the restroom in the hotel while we were trying to get the hotel issue situated....after a 5 hour drive. They charged me over 100 bucks because the bathroom was used in the room.
These people are RUDE and Inconsiderate. The manager was made aware of her rude staff and she did absolutely nothing about it. They need to learn what customer service is and they also need to fix the website on Priceline to be sure they have the correct room photos.
A few things to consider...the pool isn't in working order, The breakfast is grab and go, The hallways smell like smoke, Staff is rude and difficult. Also they don't care about any of it. They just...

I'm considering writing a letter, since 3000 characters won't be enough. My wife and I have stayed at this hotel before, right when the pandemic began two years ago. We've literally had NO issues with the staff and/or hotel. Yesterday, we made a reservation for a good friend of ours and we were going to be at the hotel before check-in. We live in conyers, georgia- a very southern, country-like town. A decent percentage of the people here drive big loud trucks, as our friend owns several. We arrived to the hotel right in the middle of an absolute monsoon of a storm, and we pulled under the awning to prevent our things getting wet. We were unpurposely blocking a few other vehicles from the driveway, and a few people expressed their displeasure. My niece and I walked in, and the lady at the counter along with the owner, Mr. Patel, informed us it would be a little while longer before a room was ready. Precisely at 3pm, the front desk lady (older black lady) informs us that "another hotel called and let them know, that they had just kicked us out and not to rent to us). Few things: number one, how does she know who "us" is? Number two, we weren't even at a hotel previous to this day. Three: is it so hard to assume that she or the owner was not pleased about how we may look as a family to other guests, or even maybe he's trying to keep a "high standard" of guests? I myself am black, my niece is white, as well as my pregnant wife and friend. Did he expect that we were going to be loud and obnoxious, when we were just trying to stay somewhere nice for the evening? As diverse as our group is, and the diversity of his staff, I would expect Mr. Patel to have a high standard of customer service- of patience and understanding. He is a man of color as well, and I'm sure he gets his fair share of discrimination DAILY. Instead, we were forced to find other accommodations and sat in our cars until 8pm, while we await a refund. Thankfully, Hopper made something out of nothing for us, and the night ended on a solid note. Another thing.. The customer service agent of Hopper informed us that the staff told her that we were on the "do not rent list". They also told another agent that "none of the guests were NOT on the rent list". This was the most humiliating and sickening display of professionalism I have EVER experienced in my life. This is the true definition of don't judge a book by its cover. Wyndham, I believe you should have a conversation with Mr. Patel, and keep him accountable for his discrimination.
(I also have the chats from Hopper confirming all of my above...
Read moreSo where do I start... so much to say about this place. I stayed at this property for 4 days and 3 nights.
First: the hotel is being "renovated" ... I think. We were never told beforehand there were renovations going on. So if you do stay there anytime soon, just be aware they are "renovating". Not sure what they're renovating, but it's definitely not the rooms. Behind the front counter is a room, and it was chock full of 5 gallon buckets of what I assume were drywall compound. The pool was gone, and they were doing construction on that side of the hotel. And if the rooms have been or are being renovated, they are doing an absolutely horrible job.
The hallways smelled stale, and it just got worse over the 4 days we were there.
The room.... oy! The headboard of the bed looked like it was missing the top half. The bed itself was a metal frame with a mattress. The mattress was actually pretty comfortable, but it kept sliding down away from the headboard and the pillows would sink down between the headboard and the mattress. All. The. Time. One lamp in the room.
The bathroom: when we arrived there was a dirty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. The shower curtain rod was rusty. The first time we used the toilet it overflowed, and not because of anything we put in it. Simple #1 and TP and all of a sudden I'm Noah watching the flood. The tub had a crack in the bottom, and the sub-floor underneath was warped, which made standing in the tub interesting the first couple of times. No skid-resistant mat in the tub either. The vanity was literally falling apart in places, exposing particle board. It looked terrible. The tub dripped, could not get it to stop. The tub was a jacuzzi tub with water jets, but we didn't dare try that.
Did I mention the elevator inspection expired in October of 2020? That was 8 months ago.
We asked for a fresh change of bed linens after our first night, which they did. We asked for a fresh change the next morning and I was told they couldn't do that because they only do it "every 3 days". I'm paying for this room, I wanted fresh sheets, and they basically told me to pound sand.
Nitpicking: behind the front counter there are 6 pictures hanging on the wall. They are all of the same thing, an architectural detail from some building or other. The exact same picture, and the pictures aren't even. That's the OCD in me... just a tiny annoyance. I'm sure it doesn't bother other people as it does me, but it's the details....
Overall a poor experience. Would definitely recommend...
