Wow. I almost don't want to leave a review of this campground because it was so absolutely amazing. I don't want everyone else to start going here and leave me without a place to go! Lol Really though. This place is GREAT! The campground is on the edge of the river. Some sites are on the river, some are closer to the woods. There are bathrooms, and water pumps, no showers. There is a trail at the end of the campground that goes up into the woods, or, at the very beginning of it you can head to the river. We spent all day jumping off rocks into the water and swimming! It was like a dream. We went after labor day, so we had the campground to ourselves (except one other person). The host was super kind as well. He came to introduce himself and gave us some cool things like stickers and frisbees. Our campsite was super cool, the firepit was in a giant rock. We checked out some of the other sites, and they all have amenities based on their locations. Some have food lockers, some don't (if your vehicle is close you don't get a locker, if you have to go down to the site you get a locker). I really really loved this campground and can't...
Read moreIt was a great camping experience. We went there early Nov, for a weekend. It was a little chilly at night but not too cold for sitting around camp fire and sleeping in the sleeping bags in tents. The weather was super pleasant during the day. The campground was clean and very peaceful with access to drinking water and clean restrooms. There was no phone/internet connection there, but it is really easy to find if you follow the Google map. There is a 8-12$ fee for each day, you can pay on site and put it in the box provided there. Trail #529, next to the campground, is a very nice and beautiful, easy/intermediate level hike. It goes under a small water fall (not in dry season) and gets you to an awesome overlook in about an hour. It takes another 45 mins to complete the loop and get back to the campground. We stayed for 1.5 days and it was amazing. There were not many people around, except the camp host and another lady with her RV from Michigan. You can absolutely find it peaceful around this time...
Read moreWe were at b-rock campgrounds the campsite was nice but what they don't tell you is there are scorpions bears copperheads and there's absolutely no phones service and we had car trouble and the host of the campsite would not drive us out to get phone service we couldn't even call 911 and the host of the camp told me they can't drive us to get phone service because they had to clean a campsite but they never left their trailer we had to walk a mile just to get phone service we caught no fish but they did charge our solar battery pack so they will let everyone use their generator that was the only good thing about their service their website shows a beautiful lake or river when we got there it was murky it's a long hill to get to the water just to fish from the bank so the website is very deceiving we were not happy because we were...
