My brother and I both brought our campers, reserved 2 spots and stayed 2 nights at Rocky River Resort. And loved it. It was kind of old school camping. We had water and electric hook up. Dump station obviously on property. They do have full hook ups but we didn't reserve our spots in time lol. Zero cable and zero wifi as amenities, but who cares, right? You are supposed to be camping. Not watching tv or playing games or whatever it is people do on the internet. You do get cell service, so there's your wifi. We was close enough to current river to walk through the campgrounds and chill on the bank. They also do float excursions and have a floater pick up on grounds and that's pretty much where we hung out on the banks. It was a cloudy rainy day so we didn't float. Truthfully I didn't touch my phone all weekend unless I was using bluetooth for my music. Campgrounds are spacious. Lots of trees, a fire ring and plenty of space for us to play cornhole and put up some canopy tents between our 2 campsites. Had a great time. When checking out, the guys in the office were awesome. They said if I had a good time I should do a happy camper check out dance lol. Of course I did it lol. We will be back. Thanks so much for a great experience in camping...not...

First time here. Wouldn't recommend at all! Reserved our rafts weeks prior. Showed up and had to wait for over an hour to even sign my agreement. (Which is fine) They told us to go outback to wait for shuttle to take us to our drop off. Keep in mind got there around 10:45 a.m. didn't even leave for shuttle until 1:30 p.m., that's damn near 3 hour wait totally unacceptable. Took us to our drop off point, and not one worker came up to let us know where our raft was. We waited an additional 30 minutes. I had to finally locate workers who were sitting down smoking and listening to music while you have paying customers who are just standing there not knowing where to go. Bravo on the customer service. Took us to our raft. Looked like something bought from the late 70's. My kids were sitting on the raft and plastic blue paint pieces was coming off sticking to their legs. Had 9 pin holes in bottom of raft. About 5 inches of water just from the holes. That's absolutely ridiculous 🙄. Extremely disorganized. Usually go to KC on the current wanted to try Rocky river out. WILL NOT BE BACK. WONT RECOMMEND TO WORST ENEMY. GET YOUR BUSINESS FIGURED OUT OR CLOSE SHOP...

If you are looking for just a place to crash after a float, this is your spot. The town is cool and small. Otherwise, have an open mind. Friendly staff and a decent store. Our raft was junk as it was filling up with water the 1st 10 mins in. The raft was so worn that there were many holes in the floor that allowed water in. So that was fun to bail. Just went there last weekend, this is no state park. Full hook up sites were way overgrown, spot numbers broke or missing, broken dump pipe in the ground with zero lid of any kind(I even told a worker and he really could care less to address it), slightly clogged dump next to me, randomness at neighboring sites as they seem permanent(anything goes), roads need potholes filled. We will not be coming here again. Read reviews, they aren't lying about the negative ones. We were already booked, so we came. Take pride in your business. It goes a long way for a 1st...

Was a nice place to just sit back relaxe and enjoy. Close to town and a grocery store is a few blocks away. There is also a nice little ice cream shop within walking distance that is a must try it is called the ice cream parlor. If your looking for a place that has cell signal this is the campground to go to. If you are looking to unplug from everything then it is not. The staff do a great job getting you on your float and even if you are running late on the river they will have someone there waiting for you (speaking from experience.) They have showers and a laundry room as well that are kept clean. Great place for the price.

Celebrated my sons birthday by camping here memorial day weekend. Had a blast with no issues untill our last night there and a long term camper tried fighting us over "mean mugging" him because he was driving wreckless with several children under the age of 7 playing nearby. The longterm camper threatened to shoot us. Kyle the property manager came out only after we drove to the owners nephews house to complain. Kyle did nothing actually implied we where the problem and drinking when none of us had drank any alcohol. I AM VERY disappointed in how this was handled. This is supposed to be a family oriented place.

Second annual float to this place and had a great relaxing time. Campsites are shady and well spaced. Could use upgraded shore power boxes at some sites. Owners and employees are all very respectful and attentive. If you are looking for a low stress-chill neighbors campground, check this one for sure.
