Covington City Park — Hotel in Covington

What a wonderful Park! On our way home from a vacation and we wanted to stretch our legs, a little bit off of the highway but we're taking a 5 and 1/2 hour trip so really what is another 6 minutes :-)

Had no clue that it had so many amenities, and at the park and playground was so large! I think we are just expecting a swing set maybe a slide, came up to multiple different types of activities for kids and even a splash pad! We live in a relatively expensive neighborhood and our park is not as nice as this one is!

Obviously after a long road trip we have to use the restrooms, and these ones were large and bright and...

Nice pool, but no kiddie pool. Decent little splash pad. Very nice playground. It includes a large castle wooden structure with slides, an obstacle course area, a small children jungle Jim, swings including a mommy and me swing, and a sand and water play area. They host many events during the year like easter egg hunt and the fourth of july fair amd fireworks show. The 6 mile walking/bike trail that starts from the park is also a fun, free, local activity. Very well kept,clean,fun,never had a problem with the people there. Most seem to be family oriented folks. Playground,water coming out of big rocks,a mister perfect for babies/toddlers,flower garden with butterflies about,restrooms,plenty of picnic tables & seating. We usually end up staying for about 3-4 hours. Everytime we go there my kids make new friends. Water shuts off at 8 I believe....
