This a very nice little Mom and Pop Motel with affordable, clean, comfortable rooms and lots of parking. It is on a main street but far enough away that the noise from any traffic isn't an annoyance. The rooms are small and show their age, but are comfortable. There is a desk chair, table, comfy chair, and a queen bed, microwave and mini fridge, and a tv with numerous channels to choose from. Our queen bed was worn and needed to be replaced as the middle has sagged, making it difficult to not roll into each other. There is a no smoking and no pet policy for the room we stayed in, with parking directly in front of the rooms. There is a highly rated cafe across the street, and it is a short walk to the numerous main downtown businesses. It is worth the price, even with the few minor discrepancies.

Cute place and good prices! Bed was a little too soft and the one chair was a bit worn out but room was clean and more than adequate for our needs.

Main Street Inn||||Crandon WI||||Owner/ Absentee "Manager" Named Jayne Has the No Manners & Poor Etiquette!||||This place is wonderful, if you can overlook eight glaring customer service shortfalls and some extremely rude & crude acts of the owner, such as:||||1. Refuses to be on hand and present to check guests in. (You have to actually telephone this woman out "at the lake.")||2. She takes ALL of your personal credit card data and info. then demands you give her cash instead, the next morning right outside your motel room door!||3. She gives you NOTHING in writing to let you know she wishes to enforce a 10 AM check-out - - you only find this out at 9:55 a.m. when the woman is banging on your front door to your room, like a cheap solicitor demanding entry the next morning!||4. Supposedly she won't "run your credit card" later on - - as long as you give her cash the next day - - so she can avoid paying any taxes on the revenue - ridiculous!||5. This person has zero respect and zero regard for the corona virus epidemic, as she aggressively approaches and harangues her guests for money with no N95 mask on!||6. No Pets Allowed? - - except HERS of course; that little black mutt gets all up on you when the ogre comes with her collection plate for cash donations.||7. The beds are not good and have NO support or quality whatsoever - she says they're new, but yeah, sure - paid fifty bucks apiece for them, ok.||8. She obviously does not bank on repeat business because this genius wanted people out by ten in the morning so she could quick do a 5 minute cleaning and then get her rear back to the lake where she hangs out evidently, instead of working the business = poor manners and bad etiquette!||||There is nowhere else that we have ever stayed whereby an owner or manager acts in this crude manner and hassles a guest via these primitive methods and in this unprofessional way. Very unimpressive to say the least. The only good thing about the Main Street Inn, was seeing it in the rear-view window. The experience here can be summed up in one...

I must agree with the last review "This was the worst Place........" I too walked into vacant office only to read a sign that said I had to attend to my second job, please find a key in the mailbox for the room that you wish and will collect in the morning. Fine....That will work for me. I then later met up with the owner and was questioned why I had selected a 2-bed room and not a single, I replied, “Well I chose that room because that’s the same one you gave me last time I was here. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong, so I offered to pick up camp and move to another room. She just walked away from me and said nothing. Just then another customer drove on site and she uttered to me that they will probably want the room I chose, so once again I offered to move rooms to accommodate the newcomers and she said sarcastically in order to make me feel guilty, "Now I have to clean two more rooms" {thus meaning so 2-bed rooms would be available and it was all my fault} I can agree that she is the Devil woman with no regard to other people’s feelings even if they happen to be her own bread & butter. I now know why she must maintain a second job, it’s because she performs so poorly at the first one. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, somewhere that the business will treat you with the respect that a...
