I hadn't been camping in many years so, I decided to try Glenn Helen campground. What a beautiful experience. I took the basic necessities. Water, food, tent, oh and off course fishing gear and stove. The campground was quiet such a beautiful view of the mountains. It also has a bathroom with showers bring quarters if I'm not mistaken it's five quarters for 5 minutes. The lake is right across the street. The only thing I didn't like was I couldn't find a walking path to, the outside of the campground the only way in and out of the campground is with your car.

Restrooms are clean. Showers are clean but you have to pay a dollar to use. The campground for dry camping area is kind of unorganized. They don't mark the spots for the dry camping. Lots of noise from the freeway, so if you're looking for seclusion, this isn't the spot. Also, lots of traffic on the main road from the commuters bypassing the 15 freeway around rush hour. So don't leave or come in to camp around rush hour.

Don’t camp here, the parks are fine, but the campground is surrounded by two loud freeways, a railroad, and a very busy street, there is no seclusion. Their website shows pictures of the grassy shady parks where you CANNOT camp. The campground is literally sticker bush weeds with sparse shade. They only had one restroom open with no toilet paper. We made the best of it, but the website was very deceiving.

I have had good experiences camping here until this week. The park ranger changed my reservation without contacting me, then pounded on my door 4 times (intimidation) when I had proof that I had paid for the reservation already. She said I owed more money. In the meantime I contacted the park office & they figured everything out & I didn't owe anymore money.

I avoid the restrooms but do use the showers. Although I did experience last weekend that the showers were not working. I went to the booth & they sent someone to fix...

Quiet, out of the way place to decompress. At least when it’s less than 10 sites full. It is primitive as far as, no services, no wifi, no security, no pool or clubhouse but you get W/E/S. You do need a code to get in the gate and it will only trigger on the way out with a vehicle. You do have access to the park across the road for no extra charge. Light freeway noise and some train noise but pretty much peaceful. Highly recommend for adult campers that just want to get away. Cell service sting, Ariel antenna signal is...
