My 5 friends & I stayed in Cottage 1 for a girls' weekend Friday 4/26/24 - Sunday 4/28/24 and it was such a fun time! We looked for a long time to find a place that had at least 6 beds so we could all have a bed, but Cottage 1 worked great! All of us had a place to sleep in Cottage 1. The whole place was absolutely gorgeous, with 3 stories, two living rooms, a large kitchen, a screened porch, a garage, and a patio with a grill & firepit. It was cold and rainy over our weekend so we couldn't take advantage of the patio & porch, but it didn't deter our enjoyment.

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as far as utensils, cookware, pots, pans, etc. It had an electric griddle that was very convenient for a pancakes & bacon breakfast. We didn't need anything to make our meals or anything, so that was nice. We were provided towels & linens & the beds were very comfortable.

Ruth was lovely during our stay as well. She let us park our extra cars in the driveways of the unoccupied cabins so we didn't have to park in the overflow parking lot that was a bit aways away from the cottage. She also let us have a late checkout on Sunday morning, which was very appreciated!

It was an absolutely lovely place to stay for the weekend, even though we didn't get to do a lot of the outdoor stuff due to the weather. We enjoyed ourselves so much & will definitely return for another...

Overall, I had a pleasant experience this past week with my family while staying at Boyd Lodge. The cabins are easily accessible to the lakes and nature trails. Our cabin was outfitted with several beds, bathrooms, full kitchen, and an outdoor grill. The fireplace is cozy and the living areas were nice. There were two community pools we could use, as well as a hot tub. There is a fitness center, while small, gets the job done. Unfortunately, the saunas did not appear to work during our stay. There are different items you can borrow from the lobby including bean bags for corn hole, paddles and vests for kayaks, and even items like a crib for small children. I found these to be nice touches. There is a communal washer and dryer which operates on quarters; the dryer didn't dry too well but we were able to air dry our clothes before checkout the next morning at 9:30.

Overall, it was a very good experience. I also appreciate the friendly staff that helped us during our stay. Hoping to...

Our early fall Girl’s weekend at Boyd’s was perfect! The resort was pretty easy to get to. It was very quiet, pretty and very clean. The cabin (#55) -spacious enough for the 5 of us yet had a comfy feel. The kitchen and appliances were nice, bathrooms were spacious. It was well maintained and decorated very cute. All the cabins were spaced with privacy in mind and had plenty of room for lawn games and sunning spots next to the cabin. The 2 pool areas were working and clean. The beach was nice and sandy with a giant float and swing set for little guests. There were kayaks, paddle boats, life jackets also. The host and employees were informative and friendly. Lots to do - shopping in the surrounding towns, great restaurants, and good fishing šŸŽ£. Was a definite 5 star weekend for us. Will definitely be back...

A summer vacation at Boyd Lodge has been our family tradition for over a decade. The cottages and cabins are comfortable and cozy. Great swimming pools, large beach with use of paddleboards, canoes, kayaks. Traditional Up North activities including minnow & turtle races, Boydo/Bingo, bonfires & ice cream. Mike, Ruth and Sandy are amazing hosts. The best week of the summer!

Boyd Lodge has always been our go-to place for a week each summer. This year we added a stay in September and another in February since flying somewhere wasn't pandemic friendly. A winter stay was amazing! Walking outside, hot tubs, beautiful accommodations and our always friendly hosts Mike and Ruth. Very highly recommend a stay any time of year!
