Little Boy Resort & Campground — Hotel in Crosslake

This was our first time at Little Boy Resort, and wow are we impressed!!

The resort as a whole is well maintained, many free perks like a basketball court, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, a game room, park, and more. For a minimal weekly fee they have access to an AWESOME gym with both cardio and muscle building equipment. This was a great surprise for us.

We stayed in one of the new suites and it was perfect, with my only wish being for a little more space to store clothing. Maybe a built-in or a dresser would help, but it worked and didn’t take away from our trip at all.

The owners and their family members/staff are so welcoming and top notch when it comes to customer service. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived.

There is nothing more important to the owners of this resort, than making sure their guests have a fantastic place to vacation and enjoy northern Minnesota's lake life! I've know Troy and Nancy, owners of LBR, for several years now, and it has always been clear to me that they take great pride in providing their guests fun and relaxing stay. Troy and Nancy have it ALL here! Cabins are always clean and well-kept. There are campground sites available with RV electric and sewer connections. Lakeside store for anything you might have forgot at home complete with a gas-dock for your boat. A beautiful sandy beach with a water trampoline and other water toys. This was my first visit to the lake and resort. I do an annual trip to MN with the guys. This was our 37th year and it did not disappoint. We have already re-booked for June 2021, and maybe a trip in May with my wife. Troy and Nancy are super people who have years of experience at owning and running the resort. A lot of hard work is put in to keep the grounds and cabins in excellent condition. We loved our cabin, and the whole experience. It was a very relaxing week (much needed) in a period of time like we have never seen. It was great to get away from all of that for a week.
