Camped here with our truck camper. There are many sites that will fit a larger camper. I would feel comfortable pulling our 29' 5th wheel through here to get a site. I may have to park the truck in the overflow lot. Of course as long as one is available. This is a first come first serve campground. We are here on a Thursday 9-30-21 and there are plenty of sites open.i imagine they will start to fill Friday afternoon. No electricity, there is a hand pump for water. Read moreI loved this campground! Much cheaper and more hidden away, just off the North Shore past Palisade for all you road trippers 😉 right next to a creek and semi far from the highway so it's quiet. Outhouses but no showers and there is a drinkable water faucet in case you run out of water bottles! Fire pit with grill station attached and not too many bugs! Cash or check (no cards) of $14/day (MUCH cheaper than the tourist spots) and not too well known so there are usually a couple spots open.. do not call ahead and make a reservation because sites are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. If you make a reservation, you're...

Lots and lots of flies and they smell terrible. That's somewhat to be expected of a pit toilet though. Picture is...
