Great and friendly people run the campground, make sure your setup and help guide your spot camper lining you up with electic and sewer hookups. They check and see if you are doing ok. Very friendly, peacful, quiet. The creek is shallow and great for kids to play and fish. Plus, our dog loves to walk through the creek. Could not ask for a better place to go camping. ... there is also a restaurant here with great tasting food, nice size portions, and the BEST chocolate cake in the world

I stayed there for the spartan race in glen jean. Started off fine. The price wasn't bad and it wasn't too noisy aside from the cars on the major road nearby. The bathrooms were overridden with bugs and I didn't trust the water spout they had, but I figured I could go elsewhere if I really had to. Then I was coming back to the campground after the race, and I missed a speed limit sign taking it from 25 mph to 8 mph. To be fair to them, it was my fault that I didn't see the sign. But then someone who addressed himself as the manager chased me down in a golf cart. He started threatening to kick me out if I did it again. I apologized, said I didn't see the sign and said it wouldn't happen again in as polite a voice as I could. But he wasn't having it. He probably sat there for about five minutes repeating to me how tough he was and how he wasn't the kind of guy I wanted to mess with. He stared at my licence plate saying he knows where I'm from now. If he had kept it up much longer, I probably would have had to call the cops for all of the threats he was making against me. I kept saying I understood and it wouldn't happen again, but it was clear he was just there to try intimidating me; he didn't actually care if I was going to correct the behavior. I payed for two nights, but I decided to pack up right there and leave after only one night. That one interaction was so unpleasant that I will personally never stay at this campground again, nor would I ever recommend it to another person. By far the worse interaction I have ever had with someone working in...

I love it here! My husband travels for work, so we have been to many RV parks, and this is one of my favorites. Upon arrival we accidentally took out both ac units (oops! Be sure to take the right exit. 2 of the ways gps takes you will be very expensive if you make our silly mistake). The owner Paul was amazing! he hooked us up immediately with mt. State mobile rv repair (very reasonable, and fast).Paul helped to remove our AC units and lift the new ones up with his tractor. The park is kept immaculate! He is constantly mowing and keeping the property beautiful. There is a lovely creek and you are surrounded by gorgeous tree filled hills. There is also a bar and grill, bathrooms for those who are tent camping, a pavilion, playground, and he also has a very nice cabin we have rented for friends several times (price was great). The bar and grill has the most friendly staff and patrons. They have great live music on Friday, good food, nicely made drinks, pool, and everything is priced very reasonably. The cabin has 2 super comfortable beds with nice bedding, a fridge, bathroom with shower, AC, fire place heater, a nice front porch with chairs and a grill. The Rv sites are large with a nice yard. Electricity is included. I found the monthly rates reasonable as well. Paul and his staff are always around to ensure a pleasant stay. Everyone I've encountered has been delightful and professional... the customer service cant be beat. This is a great place to call home for a short or long stay. I highly recommend this rv park. ...

Owner was awesome!!! The wife and I were on our way to ride the Tail of The Dragon from Michigan and had no plans to end up here. Fun campground with a bar!!! The owner is all for the kids!! And also enjoys accommodating the adults!! Great place to relax, have a few cold ones with some really good people. If your tired of stuffy campgrounds this is a great place to stay with some good old down to earth people!! Thanks again for the great stay. Wish we could of stayed longer. Next time we are out that way this place will definitely be one of...
