I hate to write a bad review for anyone but I have nothing good to say about my camping experience here. I’ve rode this place for a couple years. Even have my yearly pass for riding. Never camped until this weekend. Had a tent spot booked for 2 nights. We left after the first night.
I don’t understand why they charge people to set up in a campground that they don’t monitor. We woke up Saturday morning and were instantly surrounded by people using the campground as a day area. Loading and unloading machines riding through the campground instead of going to the trails. We called for security when us and all of our things were getting pelted with rocks from people hauling ass through the camp ground over and over. Of course security never bothered to stop. Just a waste of money. If I have to pay to stay in that campground there shouldn’t be people allowed to just set up canopy’s and bring 4 car loads of people blast music and use it for free. I will absolutely never set up a camp spot for this place ever again. Honestly not even sure if I’ll go back to ride. They’ve created a Wild West inside that gate and refuse to do...
Read moreGreat location for all types of ATV and UTV riding, but my only complaint is we found searching RV campground which it is, but no where is post on their website that you must pay an additional $36 per person per day to enter the riding park which the campground is located. We were here for a wedding and had planned on having family visit us at the campsite but visiters are all required to pay to enter. I completely understand the reasoning for this and if this pay to enter info would have been posted on the campground website we would have booked somewhere else. The facility is great and the people at the desk are great, it just would have been nice to know this in advance so we could have made an...
Read moreIron Mountain keeps getting better and better! More and new trails, mud, hill climbs, single track woods riding, Mx tracks, and plenty of small jumps to hit if you get on the correct trail. The place is really big though so you can lost easily so keep an old phone loaded with the maps. My only complaints has to do with their store and trail parking areas. The store doesn't stock enough variety of inner tubes, please correct that, and they used large rock in the parking, making driving on it really rough. Otherwise it's a blast, you gotta come out...
