Smoky Mountain Lakeside Resort and Marina — Hotel in Dandridge

My husband and I stayed in The "Lake Hair Dont Care" suite and we were impressed from the moment we walked in! First impression is modern, cozy, clean, beautiful view without any weird smells. The room is tastefully decorated in bright colors. There is a beautiful electric fireplace that really adds nice cozy vbe to the room. The furniture is modern and cozy. The bed was perfect for us, not too soft and not too hard. The bed linens were sooo soft and comfy as well. This room has a daybedw/trundle at the end of the bed which too is really comfortable to sit on in front of fireplace or to lay on. And it has lots of extra pillows with the coziest little throw pillows. Probably one of the most comfortable places I have ever slept when traveling and I am picky!! The bathroom has a wonderful walk in modern shower with two showerheads, one being a rainhead shower. The water pressure is good, and the water gets nice and hot too. The room has great lighting throughout, even in the bathroom. Plenty of soft WHITE towels/handtowels provided. There is also a Keurig, microwave and small refrigerator and iron the the room. The room has lots of storage with drawers in the modern furniture and a small closet area with shelves. There is a nice little desk area that has good lighting. Good quality light blocking shades for added privacy. The deck has clean roomy hot tub big enough for 4 people comfortably. Bae and I stayed at lake it up villa. Pros and Cons||Pros beautiful everything is basically new, entire place was remodeled and just open June 17 2022. Everything is super clean, beautiful and neat. The villa is right on the lake with mtn and lake view. Hot tub is an amazing bonus and the villa it’s right off of I 40 30 mins from Knoxville and Sevierville Tn. Hr from pigeon forge. It’s 322 sq ft (I think) nice size, fireplace and Tv gives it a beautiful romantic feel. Bed is extremely comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. You have fridge, microwave, Tv, hair dryer, Coffee maker and basic shampoo etc. Guest services are extremely helpful and nice. I called and they answer any questions I had. You are able to book on there web site or Airbnb I recommend booking on there site. There is a food truck next door you can walk to to get food and they actually delivered our food to our villa. ||Cons (really not none)|Walls are a little thin you can semi hear neighbors.|The patio is not covered which it can get extremely hot which is good if you want a tan.|There is no iron in the room|Fits great for 2 people maybe 3 with the 3 rd being a child. |Fall season the Douglas lake is drained still beautiful sight but lake is not full at all. (Which don’t have nothing to do with the villa)|No housekeeping which is fine I brought extra stuff which I didn’t need and besides with Airbnb cabins etc it’s no housekeeping anyway. ||I (we) will definitely be back. 5 stars isn't enough for Smoky Mountain Lakeside Resort and Marina! We had an amazing stay, from beginning to end and will definitely be back! A huge shout-out to Blake for making us feel right at home, as well as the amazing staff we met along the way -- Chris, Carlos, Caesar, Tomato, and Tyree. This might be one of the best and most thoughtful group of staff I've ever encountered. You can feel their joy and pride!

As for accommodations, we loved the retro-styled rooms, kitchenette, private hot tub, trundle bed, and in-room fireplace. We were sweetly delighted with our goodie bag! It's obvious that Lakeside Resort prioritizes quality!

As for the property, we loved the convenience of the bar and grill as well as the boat launch and views. We tried the grilled cheese sandwich (with cheese curds) and the funnel cake fries -- each were delicious!

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more --Thank you to the whole team for introducing us to Dandridge the Lakeside Resort way! We can't wait to see how this resort grows in the future and to bring our friends and families along for the ride.
