Have been there twice this season and both trips were miserable. A rude group who ran there 100 plus DB generator all day and evening until the camp host told them to shut it off Yaaaa! Then the fight was on, they were up all night screaming and cussing at each other. The Second trip the Ranger came around and was accusing people of having a fire because the now absent camp host (Probably fed up and quit) had put the restriction Tags on the fire pits but not cleaned them out... You sometimes can get lucky mid week without one. The natural pests of summer and fall are present here. Bring mosquito repellent and a few bee traps if your are staying more than a few days. The campsites are paved for your vehicle to park on. The sites are not really on top of each, so there is some privacy between sites.
