Primrose Family Lodge — Hotel in Davis

We originally booked for Cedar Breeze and ended up switching to a larger nicer cabin - Woodland Breeze. There was no electricity for 6 hours at Cedar breezewent out of our way to buy bedding for the cabin per the rental agreement. But with 4 kids and one being an infant there was no way we could stay in a house that was 80+ degrees and had no electricity, it was hot and a pain. The owner told us to get dinner and come back and it would be fixed so we stayed out till 10pm and finally called and asked for them to switch us. When switching the owner was rather crass and didn't want to accommodate the switch and then after obligingly moving us when I refused to pay, he made a point that we couldn't bring any of the things we wasted money on, the sheets pillows and blankets into the new cabins because they were already furnished. The cabin had not been cleaned, including bedding, countertops, and floors. The beds looked like someone had been sleeping on them.We laundered the bedding ourselves prior to using. There were male and female clothes in the closet of one room as if someone was living there. On our second night around 2 a.m., about 5 intruders were sneaking around outside despite the motion lights. One attempted to climb the lattice to the upstairs. They clearly knew the layout. Our cars were in the drive, so there was no ambiguity that the cabin was occupied. I'm sure that they didn't expect anyone to be awake. Fortunately for us, my sister heard them outside and saw them.
