YMCA Camp Classen — Hotel in Davis

So my son's 5th grade class spent a week at Camp Classen as part of their school-sponsored event as part of their curriculum. They had worksheets to complete each day, that went hand in hand with their camp experience. They learned the history of the camp, the different biomes around the property, the types of soil/rock, types of wildlife, types of trees and plants, and even the conservation efforts at camp. This experience was priceless and one I know the kids will remember forever. Thank you to all the volunteer parents, teachers, and camp staff for making this possible!!! As for the accommodations...the cabins have bunk beds with a mattress, bathrooms inside the cabins, there is a main shower house (probably less than 5 yrs old) with separate quarters for boys/girls as well as adults. A main dining hall, nature center, and Activities Center. There are many activities no matter the weather rain or shine, hot or cold. So choose your week and book your time, you will be so...

I am a Camp Classen Lifer! Everything about this place is incredible! The staff are wonderful with the kids. I've taken my kids to summer camp there for 5 years while I perform the camp nurse duties. I've been there for the past 10 years in the fall with Bethany Elementary for outdoor school. They have numerous activities to offer for any group that wants to partake.

God has blessed this place with great people and a top-notch non-profit organization to make it the place to enjoy the outdoors for centuries to come.

I had so much fun at this camp it was the best experience i've ever had. I overcame my fear of heights. We went hiking,swimming, kayaking and more. Everything I've never done before I did it at this camp in less then one week. I was really sad to leave i loved my friends their and counselors. Their food was great. I felt like I achieved a great reward from being here and I thank ms.whitney for bringing me. I hope I can go back one day and maybe even live there. This camp has made me have confidence that I never thought I would have. They taught me things I wish I knew. Everything was just perfect, I felt like I was in paradise. This will always be...
