Ayer Boat Basin COE Campground — Hotel in Dayton

We had a great time. Stayed a week caught fish at camp and on river. Place was clean, very few people, a non hassle week with son in- law Joel Kelley all the small mouth we wanted most close to 1 lb never weighed our largest and a few cats 6.2 lb being the largest. Good place for a weekend get away. Water is warmer in the basin than the river so swimming is good although some of the basin will fill with milfoil. There are a couple covered shelters with picnic tables and fire pits. This however most if not all the shade. It can get very hot.

Bathroom can get gross and recent years has shown an increase in graffiti. But is generally stocked.
