Be aware of this company's marketing tactics. On March 2015, I filled out a form at the Minneapolis Auto-Show where they had a stand there. The entry was to win $5000 or an ATV. I asked when will the winners be announced and they told me they will notify me if I've won. Sure enough I was notified I was a "Finalist" and they called me and verified my information and asked me to go to their showroom and I was going to get a free tablet and other prizes but they wanted me to go with my wife. When I told them that my wife couldn't make it but I will be going, they said we both had to be present. First of all, this "contest" just got derailed from the original claim, second, there was nothing stated that there was a preliminary round to find "finalists" and third, requiring me to attend with my wife otherwise I wouldn't qualify is plain ridiculous. Obviously they screen all the entries and they look for the entries that are the best candidates to buy their products. Asking me about my household income being higher than 50,000, if I was married, and if I was between 30 and 70 sure does like the intended target to buy their products. BEWARE of these company's tactics. I wasn't expecting $5000 for free or an ATV. Actually I signed up because I was with a group of friends and they all signed up. But again, these deceiving tactics just earned them a negative...

I have stayed here the last 2 weekends and it has been extremely disappointing. This weekend there is a notice that there is coliform (fecal) bacteria in the drinking water, but that it is safe to drink, no thank you. The pool has been closed for the entire day on each weekend and the hot tub has been broke and unusable. The bathrooms were filthy last weekend and out of toilet paper on Friday and hadn't been refilled when we left Sunday. They cut the grass on Friday afternoon, at high speeds, where kids are playing on the playground, mini golf course, running to and from the pool, and riding their bicycles around the loop. I fear something could come flying out of the mower and injure someone or a child could run in front of the mower and get run-over, couldn't this be done when the park isn't as busy as a Friday afternoon? We went into the club house to use the computer while we waited for them to finish the grass, but guess what? It too is broken, not to mention how hard it was to get the door open in the first place, there is a sign that says door isn't locked, pull really hard. So now my kids and I are waiting until they are done cutting the grass, to use the amenities that...

The campground has lots of great amenities - outdoor pool, mini golf, horse shoes, hiking trails, and a trout stream. It also has a convenience store with basic camping needs, pool noodles, candy, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets. The manager of the store was very friendly with kids and helpful, sharing information about the area. Our kids and granddaughters will be joining us so it's nice to have family-friendly activities available. We stayed in a permanent RV that met our needs. It could use some repairs on the window shades, but very nice and well stocked. One of our GPSs couldn't find the location, but luckily, another one did. It is in a very isolated location, so texting and phone service was spotty. The drive in the immediate area is very lovely, with rolling hills and green fields. We were treated to Mother Nature's light show our first night here. Luckily, no rain came our way. We would recommend this spot and will keep it in mind for future vacations.

It’s a great place and just became a KOA Journey Campgrounds. You can fish here w/o a fishing license bc it’s considered private a plus brownie trout in the stream. Excellent hiking kids activities every weekend a heated swimming pool & hiking trails & not forgetting the bluff lookout point is amazing….
