Granbury RV Park — Hotel in DeCordova

This place is an absolute joke. In 15 years of RVing the hands down worst place we’ve ever stayed. You’ll blow your suspension just driving through the park. The “ Free WiFi” is non existent and when I talk to the owners of park about the WiFi not working they tell me it’s free so they really have no obligation to offer WiFi. Last but certainly not least they tried to fine me for dog crap around my camper, I proceeded to tell them multiple times I do not own a dog and have not owned any pet for over 12 years, the final time they approached my vehicle on the way through park and John one of the owners was yelling and belittling me about how they don’t pick up dog crap! And I really had to keep my temper here as I almost went back to my younger ways.for whatever reason this time when I told him that I haven’t owned a pet in over a decade I guess he finally understood because he didn’t ask about it again. I do believe he just wanted someone to yell at…. Not to mention this park is priced higher than most competitors…. The grass is over 24 inches tall and full of snakes and spiders… If I could I would give this place a -10 star review...

Update: I've upped my star rating from 2 to 4. Mostly because Chad really was genuine in wanting to address the issues and make it right. When I am able to come back and actually see that they have made the adjustments, then it certainly could be 5 stars. Thanks Chad for your efforts with me!

Unfortunately it was a let down. This place has real potential. It is priced for what it "could be"... not what it is. The common area, could be really nice. But the pool and spa water were green. And the temps were still where we could have used them... but not in the condition they were in. They said they had good wifi, which I needed for this trip. They put us in space 1 which was closest to the booster. Well, that meant we were right next to the highway... too much noise. So we moved back a few spaces. The internet didn't reach there with any use. When I stood next to the wifi booster, and tested it... it was 1.5mb download.... The place is in the country, which is a nice setting. They have full hookups, which is good. But in the end, it is quite unlikely we will come back, especially...

Showed up to check in and hadn’t received any check in instructions, as their original booking confirmation said I would. Gladly required payment in full for booking. Office locked up, no one on site. No one answering phone number listed. No response to text messages to the number listed. No response by “on site manager” number listed. Waited TWO hours on site for any response whatsoever without a site # or any instructions. Check in was available starting at 1pm and did not get a response to anything until 5:05pm after 5-10 calls, texts, and emails. Had to find somewhere else to stay last minute.

Absolutely unacceptable business practice and now refuses to refund or even respond to request for refund for the reservation they did not accommodate.
