This is such a GREAT campground! I found this place not to long ago and took a chance to check it out. I'm so HAPPY I did! This campground is more for RVs , Big and Small, and travel trailers rather than tent sites. I've only seen a handful of tent sites and the rest is RV sites. They have a small pond that you can canoe or paddle boat and fish in. There is another small pond with a swimming beach. And another small pond for catch and release fishing. The office has a super friendly staff. They are very helpful and genuinely happy to help you or just talk with you. The office also has some supplies in case you need something. There is also a Rec Room there with pool table, video games and more. They offer propane refill, firewood ( and delivery, and of course in the campground only ) They have rest rooms and showers. I have to admit the showers are REALLY GOOD!!! Great water pressure. The water temperature is very good too. It can be very hot or nice and cold. Whatever you want. 25 cents for 6 minutes, so bring your quarters. I highly recommend this campground. I checked this place out on a whim, and I've been back multiple times already! And looking forward to going back again asap.

The park is on a beautiful piece of property, completely covered by a canopy of trees. It's very peaceful, and well kept. The owners are fantastic. You will need to be prepared for mosquitoes and deer flies as well as your rig being covered with pine needles or twigs and leaves. If you're okay with that, this is a great place to stay. Quiet and family oriented.

My family and I stayed in a cabin the weekend of the annual chicken bbq. From the moment we checked in we felt at home and the owners treat you like family! The cabin was just the right size and our site was huge! The grounds were spacious and clean. We will be back next year.

What a wonderful experience! Coming home from a sudden trip to a funeral in Maine. We had thought we would be able to find a place to stay for the night somewhere in New Hampshire. Unfortunately there was nothing available anywhere, not even a Walmart parking lot and it was getting late! Then we called Oxbow Campground and spoke to the owner Tom. At first he said he did not have any availability as he was totally booked and suggested a few other places to call all of which we had already done with no success. After hearing this he graciously offered to allow us to park in the front field (we are a self contained motorhome). What an absolute blessing after a very stressful day. The campground itself is beautiful! Several lakes, nicely wooded, well kept and very clean, beautiful pavilion with various activities throughout the summer. Even a game room off the office as well as outdoor games like volleyball and shuffleboard. The kindness and heart of the owner Tom is evident everywhere as he truly loves what he does and cares about the people he meets. You don't often meet someone with this level of compassion and heart and we are so grateful to have met Tom. I highly recommend seeking out this wonderful campground if your travels take you near Deering...

I had been trying to get into this place for a few years, they are often booked up an it looked real nice from the pictures online. Finally got an opportunity a few weeks ago to give it a try. Nice place. Has a traditional campground feel, lots of woods, water features, some decent sites. We were in the pull through area up near the office, which was spacious enough, hard sometimes not to feel like you in a parking lot. It was nice walking around the grounds, the dogs enjoyed the water. People seemed friendly. The surrounding area is nice as well. Reasonably priced,...
