Driftwood Too! Camping Resorts — Hotel in Dennis Township

For anyone who thinks this a campground with things to do beware. This is a (retirement) area with mostly permanent homes and very few transit sites. The staff was pleasant but unable to give out local information as they were not from the area. There was almost no shade in the sites as most of the trees have been removed. The lake has been abandoned so there is no swimming. There is a nice pool on the property. the rest rooms were very much in need of cleaning and during the day there was a good amount of construction equipment coming in or out of the property. We were very disappointed and left...

We camp here at least once a summer and always enjoy our stay! We have a travel trailer and love that all of the spots have full hook-ups and are on the larger size compared to lots of other campgrounds we have stayed at. The staff is very personable and accommodating and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The location can't be beat either as you can be on 30th Street Beach in Avalon in about 10-15 mins. Make sure to check out this smaller but friendly campground next time you are in the area.
