I would have rated this hotel a 4 but there were some issues with the management and billing. First off the property is nice, the rooms are clean and new. The only thing is they have coffee makers in the room and these tiny little dixie cups to rinse your mouth in, no paper or styrofoam cups for coffee? I don't get it.. The second thing is my email from the hotel stated I could check in as early as 7am, not true once I arrived in DeQuincy at 1pm we came in and were told nope your room is not ready check in time is 3:00pm, okay no biggie. But what really set me off is they double billed my room the next business day. I called the hotel directly and immediately the woman was saying Well my manager says it will drop in a few days, Wait what? You haven't even asked who I am or anything. So finally the manager Brooke got on the phone and blames Expedia for double billing, but wait when I checked we handed our card so don't tell me you don't do any billing. I called Expedia was on hold for about 10 minutes because they also called the hotel, and spoke to Brooke who assured them there was a mixup with MY BANK? That she would call me back once she called MY BANK?? Phone call never came from her and Expedia also said it was the hotels fault. My issue is when someone makes an error with your $$, take responsibility apologize for the inconvenience AND FIX IT! Don't blame me, don't blame a 3rd party who's not involved. Read moreThe first night I came here, they had a problem with my card. I called my bank and it wasn’t them. You guys need to update your computers. Late at night, I’m going to atm’s to get cash out for the room and it was very stressful. The Breakfast wasn’t much. My ac cover kept on falling off. It is taped on and I never seen anything like that. The windows are dirty, looking at scenery. You need staff to hose it down or power wash it. I didn’t know how to use the small keurig and called downstairs and front desk is doing their best to answer the question. I don’t know if there is different coffee stuff in rooms but it felt like she didn’t know. I asked someone that was part of the cleaning staff, she was the best. She asked me if anyone showed me how to use it and nobody showed me anything. She came into my room and made the coffee. She was very informative. Next time I visit, I’m gonna look for her and ask her questions. Also when I checked out, they were having problems with the printer trying to print out the receipt. Read moreThe hotel itself was nice and the rooms were comfortable but that was as it. Everything else about our stay was horrible. It was ridiculously loud. When I checked in they said they were full and had to give me a sweet which was much more expensive. $130 They were NOT full, and when I left the next morning at 6 a.m. there was only three cars in the parking lot. We only stayed at this hotel because we were rerouted off of Interstate 10 it was late and we were tired. We were only at this hotel for about 12 hours. However they charged us for two nights. I called several times to the hotel manager Brooke I was told by several different staff members that it was taken care of and my money would be refunded. After a week of this I called my bank to file a complaint, and low and behold they figure it out they had given me a hotel credit instead of refunding my credit card.
