I am reviewing this as an RV park and the pool/spa experience. I have my RV here for January-March. The monthly rate is quite reasonable at $808 per month plus electricity costs. This includes a typical spot with full hook ups, use of the restroom (men’s is 1 urinal, 2 toilet stalls, and 2 shower stalls.) it also includes use of the spa. At the “spa” (which is in the center of the park, enter through the office) there is a pool that seems to be heated to about 77-80°. There are 4 hot water pools, only 1 is jetted (has bubbles) and they are varying temperatures, so something for everyone. There is a coed sauna in the building next to the hot mineral tubs, between the locker rooms. Each locker room also has a steam room. In addition to the steam room, there is a changing area with lockers, shelves and a couple benches. There is a sink area, bathrooms and a few showers. This is a pretty quiet place, not a ton of partying like a lot of RV spots, which is fine for me, as I’m typically there for work. The neighbors are friendly though, and a couple weeks into my stay, I’ve been happy. They allow the public to use the spa area for, I believe $25 per person and $30 on weekends. If you have an RV spot, it is included. In the office, they have beer and wine for purchase (as well as other soft drinks) but water is the only drink allowed in the hot tub area. There are also snacks available there. It looks as though there used to be a restaurant and bar upstairs, but seems to not have been open in a while. There is a game room next to the office, but I really don’t remember what was in there. Also in the spa area, there is a pond with fish (no, don’t bring you fishing pole) and ducks and some peacocks in a cage. There are a few picnic areas with those charcoal grills you see at parks, that are cemented into the ground. Bring your own charcoal if you plan to use these. There are 2 dog parks (that I have seen) and a couple kids parks as well. On the property there are a bunch of permanent mobile homes (likely about 2/3 of the resort) and about 1/3 are RV spots. They also have, maybe 5, tiny homes that can be rented out. They look nice and new, and are close proximity to the office/spa area. They have Dumpsters available for campers/residents, but I only saw one for recycling and it was packed super full. (Granted, I wasn’t looking for a recycle dumpster, I just happened to see it when I was walking around the property) They have a laundry building with lots of washers and dryers, but upon further inspection, a solid majority are out of order. The location is far enough away to feel secluded, but close enough to civilization, that you can get an Uber, can get to Downtown Palm Springs in 25 minutes. Pretty much get anywhere in the Coachella Valley in 1/2...
Read moreWe use to love coming here for years. The people were easy going and didn't fuss about the small stuff and just let people enjoy their stay. We tow a small 17 ft camper with a small pop-up truck camper in the bed of the truck that I use for an office. This last visit here they came to our site and told us we could not pop up if we wanted to keep the truck here. We told her we didn't sleep in it but she didnt care. I asked her, "what has happened to this place?", "it use to be so friendly and easy going?". She had no response to that and just slowly walked away. While she was leaving she commented something about us being plugged in to electricity. If she only knew that we probably use less electricity than most of the other RVs here have as their phantom draw. Most of them are 50 ft motorbikes or fifth wheels on 50amp service. Meanwhile our little 15 amp plug I was using to charge my laptop was her main concern. To top all that off, while we were walking thru the lobby, this older man walked passed us on his way to the pool. I've seen him there all day wearing a very distinctive pink shirt and wide-brimmed at. But the woman at the counter started repeatedly yelling at him because he didn't clearly show her his bracelet as he walked past. In front of about 10 other patrons in the room no less. Well, we've had some enjoyable times here in the past. We've recommended it to many other full time RV travelers like ourselves and even had our trailer stored here for a year. But I cant vouch for it anymore. This place has seen much better days and is now on a steep downward trajectory. This will be...
Read moreThey seemed like a beautiful picture perfect mobile home Park with beautiful mineral spas, pools , kiddie pools , beautiful big pond with huge Koi Fish that you can hand feed as your walk over the wooden Bridge.. They even have a cute little store that you can buy odds and ends , when they actually Stock up on product… I just thought this place was amazing until I made a reservation for my son-in-law and daughter with their 3 children to set up residency until they could get on their feet .. they drove all the way from Stockton California from an apartment fire while they lost everything they owned … They filled out a rental application and they denied them for absolutely no reason … they also tried to pay rent on a weekly basis’ and the people in the office refused to take anymore money from them , they also asked them not to use the facilities such as the showers , spas, pools or market .. My son-in-law has a full time job he commute to every day.. the park still won’t give me a reason why they are not allowed to rent in their Moblie home park…. So I am giving them a chance to respond to my review on their park , because they do not have any evictions, criminal history, my son InLaw has a full time job their property management will give them a positive review since they were renting the apartment that burnt up for over 3 years and paid rent faithfully until they were made to evacuate from a fire that came from their upstairs neighbor… Other then I feel my daughter and her family are being Discriminated against the park...
