Uncle Tom's Cabins — Hotel in Dover

I spend a lot of my time in different cabins around the ohio and west Virginia area. These cabins are wonderful inside and out!! HOWEVER things should be disclosed before cabin purchase . Such as they have well water and u can not shower or use the hot tub provided because of how nasty the water is. Now well water can be alright as long as it is tested regularly and has proper filtration. This place is far from that!! When I called to speak to someone they wouldnt answer I only reciever text messages from these people about the problem 30 minutes later. They said they would change the filter and even asked me if the water stunk... like obviously they have had this problem In the past!! They offered to move us to a smaller cabin which we took only to find out that the water smelled worse in the new cabin. My husband and I were furious about the situation. When the owners were confronted with the issue they offered a full refund which was given. However you would think that talking to people face to face would be the best way to confront the issue... No these people left a note on there front door with the money in it. These people wouldn't even look me in the face so we could even talk about it. I would not recommend anyone going here un less they plan to bring there own water which I ended up having to purchase myself and plan to not shower because u will stink like sewage!! We will NEVER return to this place!! Scum like this shouldn't be in...

Cabin #7 - Uncle Tom's Cabins||We had our family of 10 - 6 Adults 4 children (ages 1 - 8) staying three nights ||||Pros:||- Very Clean||- Very Private even though there was other cabins on property. Spacing was more than adequate. ||- Spacious - Even with ten people and four children there was plenty of space for all of us.||- Great Living Room and Family Room (basement) - Great TV's, great furniture, very spacious, and well decorated ||- Bedrooms were spacious and beds were so/so as for comfort - quality sheets, pillows, etc..||- 3 Full Bathrooms and one half bathroom - clean and well stocked||- Close to heated pool, two playgrounds, basketball/volleyball court, ponds - all well within easy walking distance - some amenities real close but not too close||- Cabin #7 has a HUGE two car garage with additional expansive parking||- We locked ourselves out and management was very responsive to help us quickly even though it was 8:00 PM||- We will definitely be booking this Cabin again!!||||CONS:||- Wifi was not very good and cell coverage was spotty||- Toilet paper is awful - 1 ply||- "Stocked Pond" appeared to not be very "stocked" group of us fished for 30 minutes and only one bite. One couple did catch one tiny bass while we were fishing though||- Loud noise in basement when water is run/toilets flushed?? Not sure what this is but can be mildly annoying - also sink in basement was making some...
