Drummond Island Hotel & Vacation Home Rentals — Hotel in Drummond Township

I just stayed there on a quick solo trip to the island (9/12-9/14/25) and it was my first time staying here. In the past we've stayed in an Airbnb and at the resort.

IMPORTANT: Contact them if you're going to arrive/check-in after 7pm. I had seen this in other reviews and took the advice since I wasn't going to make it there before then. They were great about it and left the door unlocked to my room (#5) with the key in the door and a sticky note. Easy and done.

I'm a very low maintenance guest and didn't require any service to my room while I was there, however I did have a quick pleasant chat with one of the owners (I believe?) and was offered towels or anything else, which I appreciated but declined. Not much else to say but I wasn't around much. Very welcoming.

Rooms are clean, including the bathroom, and this is hands down my number one issue anywhere. I don't care about all the amenities in the world if I don't feel comfortable and clean. Zero complaints here and a selling point to my wife for the future. 👍 Also very quiet and I was able to relax while in the room as well as sleep undisturbed by others.

I didn't need it but it's worth mentioning: the parking lot. If you're hauling a trailer with a SXS or quads this is the place to stay. Huge, seriously massive parking lot AND dual driveways so you could pull through if need be. Really helpful and I saw at least 3 or 4 trailers exactly for that.

First the good, and there is a lot to like here. Cheap, with a $10/day cash discount. Pets accepted for $10/stay Rooms are spacious, clean and well kept. Include a mini fridge but no hair dryer and no microwave. Breakfast is not included, but restaurants are a short drive away. Located at the "4-Corners" so a convenient base to explore the entire island from. Includes wireless internet. Each room has individual electric heat, but I don't see any evidence of air conditioning.||||items to know, Your cell phone will probably not work here. I have Verizon and no service. But there is a phone in the hallway for all to use, no charge. There is a small microwave in the hallway as well. If you plan on staying more than one day please know housekeeping will not automatically replenish supplies like coffee or replace towels. You will have to request the service.||||I stayed in room 5. Just outside my door is the microwave and the phone. People use both at all hours and they are not quiet. Noise travels easily between rooms and you hear everything in the hallway. I would certainly recommend ear plugs.||||I am in the middle of a 4 night stay. Overall I'm happy with the accommodations and staff. I would have given 4 stars but downgraded...

Perfect! We stayed at the hotel but based on our experience, I'm sure the vacation homes are great as well. The hotel is ideally located, right near the store, The visitor center, The Northwood restaurant and close to the gas station. Michelle was very freindly and helpfully informative when we asked about the area. Our room was super clean. They supply separate towels for cleaning muddy gear, to ensure the white bath towels stay white. There is a huge parking lot to accommodate trucks/SUVs with trailers. Fire pit out back for post adventure relaxing. Pretty much perfect. Best feature to me though was that they supply a BOX FAN! I'm one of the crazy people who doesn't sleep well without a fan, so that one is a huge bonus for me. 5...
