Five stars isn't enough! Two Rivers was everything I was hoping it would be and more. My motel room was spotless, perfectly maintained, comfortable, with all the necessities and then some. They're not kidding when they tell you the water gets hot quickly, and the water pressure is fabulous. Jen and Tim pay a lot of attention to the little details and extras that most lodgings dont. The fridge is almost full sized. What a wonderful convenience! The extra mud mat inside the room was a smart and helpful extra. They provide free maps to waterfalls and trails and any other information you'd require. The location is peaceful and naturally beautiful. The owners Jen and Tim were super friendly and accommodating, and their dogs were too ☺️ There are several hiking trails nearby and some gorgeous waterfalls. Agate Beach was a lovely hour drive, and there's a nearby town for gas and other essentials. I highly recommend this gem and look forward to staying again.

Motel room 2 is exactly as described. Plenty of parking. The rooms are older, drafty, but two heat options. We were comfortable. The bathroom is super small. Has lots of outlets and USB plugs. Could hear neighbors talking at times. Owners are friendly and helpful. We snowmobiled and xcountry skied at Courtney Lake. The trail (8) is groomed well. It’s a little bit far from main attraction but doable for avid snowmobilers. We trailered to Houghton and Bergland to keep our days shorter during heavy snowmobile traffic. Would stay again- no issues or complaints.

Great place very nice people. Snowmobile trails are right there. Great place to stay to ride Western part of the up. Very clean and warm. Stayed here 5 years ago and came back for 23 can't wait to come back next year. The new owners were very nice and helpful.

Super low key (this is compliment) simple (also a compliment) place to spend a night - or more. The owners are super nice and the room was adorable (I stayed in the motel, not the cabins). Right along the highway but I didn't think it was loud at all. I looked at my receipt and I had booked room #4 and they gave me room #2, which is decorated differently - it didn't matter to me (please note I've given them a five star review!) but keep in mind future guests that it seems you are booking a room type (in my case, one bed) instead of an actual specific room even though you select one when booking. (Again, that doesn't really make a difference to me, just mentioning it in case it does to someone else!) I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever passing through; my family is just about an hour east of this place but I wasn't in the area to visit them this time (was en route to Canada the next day) so I decided to stop somewhere instead. Super glad I found this place! If Google would let me upload...

We found this place thanks to TripAdvisor and appreciate others’ reviews. We intended to stay two nights and were so happy with the place that we stayed four nights. We stayed in the motel part (rather than a cabin). The room had enough space for two people. Everything was so clean! The bed was comfortable (would be better with a mattress pad between the people and the plastic-y mattress cover). Plenty of lights and outlets. Table and two chairs. Windows on opposing walls but no cross ventilation because of the window air conditioner. A little countertop and sink in the bedroom, complete with coffee maker and paper towels. Each room had two chairs and a little table just outside the door. Owners are personable and helpful. We would definitely...
