My fiance and I stayed here in the Autumn/Fall of 2024 and it was great. It was just the two of us for our stay, which was nice, the staff were extremely friendly and made the stay feel like a really special experience from arrival. My partner is a keen rider and we were sceptical because we had done something similar in Australia which was very nose-to-tail riding, however, this was far from that. We rode some beautiful trails, she managed to ride how she imagined. We were on the trails with Chris, who gave us real insight into the area and ranch life. We were greeted each morning with coffee and breakfast. The food was fresh, and the wranglers told us where our food was from, some mornings we got stuck in and made our own oats and tortillas and there were some great lessons along with it. All in all, we would recommend the ranch, it was a real highlight of our trip to the States and we would absolutely stay again.

My family and I had a beautiful experience at the Tennesee Dude and Guest ranch! We had never ridden horses before, and we learned so much about a working farm. Our wranglers (Ashley, Brynn, Jared, Tyler, Natalie) and horses were so wonderful and patient. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun (and not necessarily easy,...lots of chores!!) and fulfilling vacation.

I stayed at the Guest Ranch in the fall of 2012, with my husband and daughter.||My first impression was fantastic- I arrived at a lovely ranch house, with a beautifully built red and white barn just yards away. We were greeted by mounted cowgirls on horseback, who were both polite, helpful and very welcoming. I was then greeted by the owner, who was just lovely and full of the Southern Hospitality we always hear about. ||The ranch house was clean, tidy, wonderfully decorated, and smelled of fresh baked bread- which I soon found out was delicious! We met our horses- I had a brilliant grey horse named Exodus, my husband had a paint named TC and my daughter had a lovely white pony named Sunny. Our horses and wranglers took very good care of us throughout the trip.||||In the morning, we went out to take care of our horses, and do the easy chores that they came with-feeding, grooming and then saddling the horses. Our wrangler was there every step of the way to teach us the proper, safe way to do everything, and then make sure everything was alright. My daughter was thrilled- the last guest ranch we had stayed at did NOT let us tack or groom our own horses. Breakfast was delicious, flavorful AND healthy. I couldn't ask for better.||||The trails were absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and the Bible studies fascinated me. My family and I found new ways to look at things, and spent more time on scriptures we didn't usually have the chance to really look at.||My husband and I even enjoyed stargazing from the back deck. In the daytime, the view was just breathtaking.||Every person we met at the ranch was friendly, genuine and always willing to lend a hand should we ever need help. ||As the staff are important, i'll go on about them for a bit.||The staff members were very kind, very professional and always seeing what they could do to improve our stay. Our wrangler- I believe his name was Brice- was very helpful, kept myself, my husband and my daughter safe and happy throughout the vacation and the Bible studies on the trail he taught us were great. Tammy taught us cooking classes, which I loved and am now doing my best to use at home. The students and other wranglers were always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed.||I had a wonderful stay, and I definitely got my moneys worth, and then some!||I hope you have the same fantastic experience I did if...

Our two sons bought us a 3 night stay at this ranch for christmas last year. We stayed October 11th thru the 14th. My husband, myself, our 21 year old daughter & her friend went. I can not say enough on how beautiful the views are at the ranch! Amazing and beautiful! Everyone at the ranch are VERY WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY! Mr Chris and Will were our wranglers. Let's see, Mr Chris is just a plain ole hoot, sweet, kind, knowledgeable and PATIENT! His instruction on HOW to ride a horse properly for your safety and the horse's safety is amazing... again very patient! Will was our favorite! Cute young man that is so respectful and knowledgable! His disposition on how he talks to guests is remarkable (I'm assuming this is just how Will is but also assume his parents raised him right and then the influence Mr Chris and Miss Tammy have made on him all contribute to his easy going respectful personality) Will corrected us when needed and helped us when needed all with such easy going tones! I hate saying Will was our favorite because they ALL are amazing at this ranch, again Mr Chris is GREAT, Stuart (ranch manager) is superb as well. They made my daughter's (as well as ours) dream come true! The WHOLE horse experience is the BEST! They teach you how to take care of your horse along with HOW to ride. We cleaned the stalls, gave hay & water to our horses 3 times a day and gave them the their own special grain twice a day. Besides the views (again out of this world) and the WONDERFUL staff at the ranch, they just take such GOOD CARE of their horses which makes me thankful! Another guest we met there had been to this ranch and another ranch near Knoxville and said the Tennessee Guest ranch was by far way better. She said the other ranch did not take of their horses at all .... i know first hand the people at Tennessee Guest Ranch DO! Thank you Mr. Chris, Will, Stuart, Olivia (head cook) & the rest of the staff and students at the Tennessee Guest Ranch for making our stay ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The Ballard family (Lou, Sue,...

I took my 9 year old granddaughter to the ranch for a 5 day authentic dude ranch experience. Upon arrival, we were met by Kevin and Will, who were extremely respectful and welcoming, as well as two beautiful cowgirls on their majestic horses. We were given a tour of the ranch, an overview of what to expect in the coming days, and taken to our cabin to settle in before dinner. We also met our horse for the week and fed and watered them.| The homemade food is delicious and healthy, with the vegetables from the garden, and homemade breads, cheese and butter.| The mornings start at 7 a.m. with chores, including feeding our horse, milking the cow, feeding the chickens, collecting eggs, and taking care of the calf, sheep and goat. Our homemade breakfast was available after all the animals were taken care of.| The first day, riding included lessons on horse safety, tacking up, and basic riding lessons to ensure we woukd be ready for the trails. The stalls were cleaned and horses fed before dinner. There was time to swim and dessert every day, including homemade yogurt and ice cream!!| The following days, the lessons were replaced with rides through the beautiful countryside, through rivers and up and down the rolling hills. Bible study was done daily and was very interesting with discussions about the meanings of the verses. The relaxed group participation with both adults and kids was wonderful!| This experience of staying on a working ranch, doing chores, and riding for hours a day in the fields (not just walking in a line on trails), and being responsible for your horse, was better than I imagined! A little work, sweat, beautiful scenery, quality horses, delicious food, professional owners and staff... this ranch is top notch!! I want to thank everyone, Chris, Tammy, Natalie, Will, both Jessica's, Josh, Scott, Kevin, and the other cook and cowgirl (sorry I forgot your names!!)| I asked my granddaughter to rate it from one to ten, and she gave it a 100!!| We...
