We found this campground on Passort America while we were on our way to Chattanooga. Not only was it a good value; Danielle (one of the owners) was probably one of the nicest people I've ever encountered at any campground. She got all of our info and told us which site we'd be in. We didn't have to give a credit card to hold the spot and when we got there, our reserve tag was on the site (site 15). She emailed me a site map so we'd know where to go. When she said it was right off the highway and behind the Marathon Station and Motel 6, I started to wonder. But she also said they were in a valley to where you couldn't hear highway noise. We finally got there and it was nice. Literally right off the highway. We took the first right after the Marathon Station and drove down into the campground (which is the only thing down the road). So truly, you could barely see the sign from the Marathon. From my window I can see the motel 6 at the top of the hill (and it looks like a nice one). It's a quaint little campground, only about 30 sites. The owners want to build a bath house and laundry facility. The roads are gravel but the sites are all concrete with a gravel approach pad. There is a dump station as well as firepits and picnic tables at most sites. But, I liked the fact that they are right next to the Livingston Trail system. The gate was closed but my dog and I could get thru/under it. Did I mention it was fall, so the leaves were beautiful. All in all this was a great little place to spend the night. It was quiet and felt very safe to us. If I had things to do in the area, I would definitely stay here for the value. We were in a 43 foot motor home with a tow vehicle and didn't...

We recently stayed at this campground overnight on our way home from Georgia. This would be our last night out before winterizing and we wanted a place with full hookups so we could drain our tanks and prepare for winterizing when we got home. This campground was very clean and easy to maneuver in and out of. The sites were concrete and level and long enough that we did not have to unhook our tow car. The owner came around to collect the remaining balance of our bill and talk with us about their plans for the campground since purchasing it a few months earlier. We were very impressed with the ideas and the hard work that had evidently already been put in place and would definitely stay again. If you have a reservation there is a packet on your site post with your name and dates of stay along with a lot of information about the area. The owners kept in touch prior to arrival to make sure you had all the information you needed to be able to just drive in and setup. The owner also shared a recommendation for a local pizza place that would deliver right to your camper door and I must say the recommendation was spot on! The pizza was great and there was no charge to deliver! The only downside I have that keeps me from rating this as 5 stars is the fact that the water hookup is below ground in a box that requires you to get down on your knees to hookup and this is very difficult for us older folks. Otherwise our stay was great and we would...

Do you remember the saying ‘you could hear a pin drop?’ Tween is extremely quiet, no freeway traffic even though it’s rather close. The manager/owner welcomed us, when you make a reservation you may have to leave a message- w/ when your arriving, size of rig what type- but at this point your never really sure you’ll get a call back, will Tween will call you back and send you all information, sight # and map. By the way, you’ll park on a nice and level sight, we have doors that I’ll bet 80% of the time won’t stay open but at Tween they stay open.

Now you will need to un-hook the toad and take a leasure 3.4 mile, 5 min drive (South) on Dover Rd (453) to Patti’s 1880 settlement 1793 JH O’Byran Ave, quite a lot to see but Patti’s restaurant is a must - hamburger and their fries 🤤 yum, oh do not forget there desert (to many to list)

Also close by is Cabin Pizza 2040 JH O’Byran Ave - there Pizza’s are GREAT 😊 👍 👍 👍 👍 Will, we hope to see you on the road some day

God Bless Rob and Robin and...
