Snowvillage Inn — Hotel in Eaton

My husband and I dropped our Daughter off at the sleepover camp down the street from Snow Village Inn. We had never been in the area and boy were were SO happy we decided to stay here. I read the reviews ahead of time and they had some of the best reviews for the hotels/Inns in the area. I was overwhelmed with how beautiful this property is - the grounds, the main Inn, the other houses and the inside were all stunning. I can't even come up with the words to describe this place. You can tell the Staff truly love working here. We stayed in the Chimney house - the room was so cute, clean and had everything we needed. The fireplace in the room was electronic so we could easily turn it on and off. The bathroom was perfect size and was even equipped with handles for people who need assessable rooms. There was no TV which was perfect as I really wanted a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of real life. The icing on the cake was the restaurant. My Husband is a high end Chef and we are used to NYC restaurants and service. This place blew our socks off. We shared the Oysters and Chinese dumplings, we ordered Steak, Wedge salad and the mushroom pasta dinner. 10/10 for flavor and execution. We hardly ever eat out at the same place back to back nights but decided to eat there again on the second night because it was SO good. The drinks & wine list were very good and the service was 10/10. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and was delicious. I can NOT wait to come back. I cannot state enough how kind and friendly the staff were to us on our recent trip here. We checked in a little later in the afternoon and we greeted kindly in the restaurant asking if we needed anything and giving us a very warm welcome with a smile. I unfortunately didn't fully do my research on this place and missed that they have their own restaurant in house (I know rookie mistake) and had already made reservations elsewhere for dinner but I am very much looking forward to returning and enjoying their dinner! To add the icing on the cake, we slept in a little bit past the standard breakfast time and when it came time to check out, the other gentleman greeted me, asked me how our stay was and informed me that they keep some options for breakfast for us warm!

I know alot of this may just sound like standard hospitality but it was truly great to experience, everyone I spoke to was more than happy to take a minute and ensure we enjoyed our stay and left with a smile on our faces!

The location of this is absolutely beautiful with incredible mountain views and surrounded by loads of opportunities to experience the outdoors!

The room wasn't a suite you'd find in a luxury hotel but we found it extremely comfortable and had everything we needed! We thought the houses and the rooms all had a great cabin esthetic!

Overall we're very much looking forward to our next stay here and would recommend it...

The Snow Village Inn We have been going to the Snow Village Inn for many years now. This is our romantic getaway every winter. It is nestled in the woods in a quite peaceful area. It is like we are in our own little world. The place is just Amazing! We feel very much at home. With the beautiful rustic ambiance, fire place sitting area, bar, dining room, etc. Our room has a panoramic view of the White Mountains. The chef is fantastic & creative with many robust flavors in the different dishes served. Our stay came with room, meals, & snowshoeing as a package deal. Each month they have a theme weekend. So you can dress up & go down to dinner if you want to join in on the fun of this theme. They have several different trails for the snowshoeing. One trail is the romantic trail that has hearts hanging from a tree branch all the way through the trail. Each one says something for the romantic couple to do. They give you a map but the trails are well marked. We do a wine and cheese & cracker picnic every time we go. Each time we go it is like visiting family & when we walk in the door we say “we are home” It is very peaceful & tranquil.
