Blue Heron Hideaway — Hotel in Eatonton

If you're looking for a place to relax and get away from everything with a beautiful view, this is a perfect place for you. The location on the lake is tucked away so you don't get a lot of the motor noise from boats or jet ski's that you'd hear on the main part of the lake. The best part of our stay was the beautiful brand new covered dock and the kayaks and paddle boards. The fishing was great with big catfish and bass right off the dock. We loved the back deck with outdoor tv, and all the comfy chairs out there. The views from the back porch and the dock are perfect for watching the sunset. We did not stay here but family did and we had our Thanksgiving there. Home has been updated recently with nice nautical touches. We'll stocked kitchen with everything we need to cook and serve our Thanksgiving dinner..the view to the lake was refreshing.
