We chose Camp spot A3 because it looked close to the lake, playground and bathrooms. The map doesn’t mention there is a fence between the campground and the lake. We understood that for safety reasons the fence is needed. But, now we had to take a brief walk around the fence to gain access to the lake and playground. The staff are great and the bathhouse is very clean. At the lake, you can also find a cash only food shop, owned by a Boricua, try the piña coladas

My family and I returned to the place because I thought it was a very nice place, but now, just like the last time, the director of the place seems very rude and disrespectful to me with his way of speaking, he keeps threatening people with getting out of the place instead of taking care the cleaning of the bathrooms I paid three lots and 3 nights and I think that for the children we deserve more respect when treating us

I absolutely love this place! Everything you need is close by, and the clean lake is especially amazing — swimming there is so much fun. The best time to visit is when the temperature is between 75–80°F; after that, it can get a bit stuffy. The staff is super friendly, and I really enjoy the fresh forest scent in this campground — it reminds me of a fir tree forest. A great place to relax and recharge!

Been living near this campground for nearly 15 years, yet I had never camped here. What a wonderful find.

We were aware of this before booking, but I wanted to point out that there are no sewer or 50-amp hookups. We originally booked site 30, however sites 30 and 31 both share the same electrical panel which is located towards the backside of site 31. I had a 25 foot extension chord, but I believe I would need at least double that to reach. Luckily, site 31 was still available, and the office handled the switch without issue.

Note for the campground staff: our 30-amp breaker kept tripping (one on left), but switching to the other one in the panel was fine. I completely forgot to tell them about this.

Connie and Steve were very friendly and gracious hosts. We did not interact with them very much, but in the short time we did they were great. Hazel was also very pleasant at check-in. The hayride and ice cream social were a lot of fun for the whole family.

The lake is the best part of the campground. The shower and bath facilities were relatively clean, although we did not make use of the facilities that much (poop tank and dumpstation along with our outdoor shower was our friend!).

We would absolutely come back again. In fact, we might make this one of our yearly recurring trips, since it is so...

This used to be one of our favorite family spots to spend time and enjoy this beautiful lake but today was so different we will never come back. The lifeguard was so rude yelling saying “ I know y’all hear me” get away from the dock” to our kids then when told how could they hear her if she so far then with no uniform The closer she got the ruder she was until we put her in her place telling her “ you don’t talk to people like that you could of said it nicer” her response was “ get out you all are getting kicked out watch this” not only was it embarrassing especially coming from a loud mouth kid it was belittling. We’re human just like you guys your no better than any of us. We heard that was the second time she’s been rude to a family that also complained. Then not to mention they closed the water at 5:30 with little warning and closed up the bathroom’s at 5 didn’t even give no one a chance to use the restroom before leaving some of us travel far to enjoy this beautiful lake and also spend lots of money there. We were basically rushed out of the whole park. It’s sad to say bye egg harbor we‘ll never...

I love it, i really do, and at night if you camp their its basacly like a horror movie but their is a horror feeling every where their is a forest. Either way its great to explore as their is many things you can do in matter of days so you will never be bored. Their is a play ground area but don't expect it to be the best of the best and their is a basketball court. Which if you love swimming then their is a flotty device that you can jump of the to do a lot of things. The camp site it self has many activity and in the shop you can also buy things you may need for whichever the occasion. Its great at night just make sure your ready for the cold and for the dark it gets very dark. I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH BUT DON'T BUT CHEAP LITTLE FLASHLIGHTS BUT STRONG ONES. Especially if your with little kids(yes get rhem cheap ones) because they end up getting scared from literally almost everything. Also at night the frogs come out so be weary. Be prepared for a lot of walking and be prepared to see a lot of stars in the sky. If its not...
