Home2 Suites by Hilton El Campo — Hotel in El Campo

Having never stayed at a Hilton or Hilton affiliate before, I wasn't sure what to expect. Home2 Suites did not disappoint! Space was very well laid out, everything was functional and served a good purpose, there was plenty of counter space for two people, and FINALLY someone had the sense to put the shower handle opposite the shower head so you don't get a face full of water when you want to adjust the temperature. Room had blackout shades on a track, a dishwasher, full deep kitchen sink, full size fridge/freezer, full size microwave, and dishes for 4 people as well as cooking utensils, accessories, dishsoap, dishtowels, hot pads, and more. No need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner or body wash because they have an amazing, high quality set in the shower. There's a two person dual coffeemaker, which great! It means no more waiting for your coffee while someone else gets theirs. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it was 10 stars! The staff was sweet and helpful. Our stay was short and we were in town for a funeral, the staff and the hotel made it pleasant! The breakfast is great as well! Not being for the area, having breakfast right there was great. The whole staff kept the tables, area and the food going. Replenishing the food when low is something that you don't see at the hotels. Most of them when the food is gone it is gone, but the kept it full the whole time! We didn't want to be late and not have any breakfast so we got there at 8 am and we watched as they refilled everything fresh. We would definitely stay here again if we are in town again! The room was beyond beautiful and the welcoming screen on TV made it more home like and feel like your stay is important. The room deposit is refundable and can be done on cash. The room feel super comfortable after a 114 °F weather outside the room was nice and cold and the temperature could be adjusted once you have cold down and want it to be a comfortable 70°F.
