Drove from Norco, Ca for Region Arabian horse show. Plenty of big rig parking. We did not pay for hookups, got horse stall. spent one night. Staff not that freindly on arrival, but never bossed us about rules, and 3 bags of shavings were in horse stall as ordered. They restrict vehicles outside show and horse stall area which is good. They should rent you or let you borrow wagons, carts to move your supplies to the stalls. Biggest problem was carrying heavy items to stall. Very quiet at night. Especially since we parked 2 rows back. First row is RV hook ups. 2nd row back is for 4 house trailer or larger. 3rd row back we parked our 2 horse with living quarters. Plenty of extra room. Alot of stored empty trailers around that can provide shade from morning sun. Mens restroom had 2 shower stalls, 3 toilets, urinals, not fancy but glad I used shower plenty of hot water and restrooms about 100 yards from parking. Plenty of horse stalls steel bar doors with vinyl roof sides. 100 foot Long hose available can reach every stall. Extremely large well anchored shade tents for spectators on both sides of uncovered show arenas. They have no covered arena that I saw. They have coffee shake and restraunt that saw minimal activity at. They dont over use PA so very quiet. Excellent footing. Staff returned lost cell phone from restroom to someone. Also Ace hardware store and gas, restraunt about 5 minutes drive away. Breezy location we did not need AC in June. Alot of shade trees at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love this show ground. They have all the amenities. The barns are well kept, procedures and rules are properly established and followed. The food is on point, the shopping from tack warehouse never disappoints. They always have maps of lots(rv, parking and barns) where you enter , courses posted, arenas well groomed. The people who run it are always nice over the phone, text, and in person. The classes move efficiently that I've been to and the announcers and judges are always on point and doing their part. Love the energy here. Also the grooms are amazing , they make our horse look great, friendly and timely. I also rv camp here and they're always very accommodating. I can't say enough great things about this equestrian center. If you see a show here , DO IT! Also food is amazing, coffee stand is is also available. Lastly. Big shout out to them having their volume on point. Not too loud, but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have not ridden a horse, boarded a horse, or watched a horse event here. I have attended dog competition trials here. The Kennel Clubs and Show Secretary do a great job in being creative in the use of the outlying facility. We are not near the horses. My dog can be distracted by cattle and horses since he's from a working cattle ranch. The facility works great for agility and FastCat competition. For a scent detection competition it's not quite as nice 4/5. Parking is plentiful and easy near the dog competition areas. There are some opportunities for shade, helpful for working out of vehicle, remembering many dog venues don't have shade. Never forget that it's the Volunteers, Judges, Stewards and Show Secretary who make the show work - no matter the...
