Blue Tin Ranch — Hotel in Elk Point West Township

Should be given a zero star. Booked through airbnb. Arrive around 10pm with my boyfriend, 5yr old son and dog. The place upon first impression is cute, awesome concept. We do alot of traveling and upon closer look the pla e was filthy, spiderweb everywhere. In addition spiders everywhere that we had to kill. They have all been there for some time. The coffee pot along with coffee box was covered in spiderwebs and a massive spider. I get it is the country but I live in the country and proper cleaning goes along way. There was zero attempt at vacuuming, dusting just cleaning in general. What made me call Airbnb and request a refund was there were 7 pills/drugs of some sort under bed. No attempt of even vacuuming was done. My dog got ahold of another pill/drug that he sniffed out under the counter. Place was filthy, unsafe and was left in a condition where my son could have been seriously hurt. There was an open half gallon of orange juice in fridge half gone. The one bed was held together by a strap. I hope that people read/see Google reviews before booking through airbnb cause I will be adding pictures to this review. Nothing mentioned that the bathroom was shared only that is was across...

I’ve been doing wedding cakes for 28 years and I’ve seen a lot of barn weddings. This one is so well done! It’s not just about what’s inside, but what’s outside! Beautiful picture opportunities; Cool woodsy paths, big mature trees, separate building and pavilion, and a super cool hollow grain elevator suited up with comfortable swinging chairs! Plenty of space for indoor or outdoor weddings. Best of all, the owners are down-to-earth and super great to work with!...

A great deal of road noise and traffic. Host was overworked and had zero enthusiasm. Place is starting to show signs of becoming run down. They have big ambitions and not the energy to pull it all off. I would not stay again unless desperate. I was very disappointed after reading all of the upscale hype...
