Cabins at Pawpaw Hill — Hotel in Elk Township

My husband and I have stayed here before and it was fine. The second time we call to book a reservation the lady booked us for the wrong cabin and by the time we figured this out the cabin we originally wanted was booked. My husband called to get our deposit refunded and she said that was fine since it was her mistake but it been 3 weeks now and multiple phone calls and no refund. My husband finally called and she answered and said something was wrong with our bank and all she could do is take that money off our next stay. My family and I stayed in a very cold cabin called Butterfly. The fireplace stayed on for 2 minutes at a time, the jacuzzi did not warm up until our last day( we stayed for 2 days.)The cabin stated this was kid friendly..but PARENTS BEWARE!! The top balcony is so flimsy a toddler could knock it over with the weight. My family and I stay at cabins at least 4-5 times a year, and this was by far the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience ever! We never asked for any compensation, just wanted her to be aware of the flaws in what could be a beautiful experience, and instead was met with vulgarity and lies. We stayed at butterfly crossing and it was so peaceful. We had a paddle boat and it was a time when we could fish. The hot tub was good, but at night attracted SO many moths, but it was still nice. The A/C worked great and we loved the foosball table upstairs. The downstairs bedroom was peaceful and cozy. The loft room was nice as well, and it was secluded but we still had Wifi.
