We stayed in the bunkhouse for 2 nights and had a great time. It was a very slow weekend (as we expected the weekend after a holiday). And we got to get the feel of the place without the stress of crowds and excessive cruising. Great place to relax and have fun. My only complaint was that the bunkhouse wasn't supposed to be rented that weekend so when we checked in and opened the refrigerator we almost lost our lunch from the smell. The power strip had been turned off and the fridge defrosted causing the most horrific stink of sour milk I have ever experienced. It lingered in the cabin all night despite trying to air it out and spraying copious amounts of cologne into the air. UPDATE 7/19/2019: I wanted to add that the staff was awesome and the very next day within an hour of us telling them about the smell from the fridge they had someone come clean it. We checked in so late (3am) that we decided to wait until the next day to even report it. We can't wait to visit again and they even responded to our review and offered a free night in the bunkhouse for the tiny bit of trouble. Above and beyond. Highly recommend spending a few days here if you're curious!

Just completed a camping trip this weekend and it was fantastic. I rode my mountain bike on several of the trails, ate an excellent meal at the Cafe, had a few well drinks, and swam in the heated pool. Staff, residents, and fellow guests were all very friendly. This place is co-ed which makes it a good place for open minded couples to come and relax, no pressure as it's clothing optional. I stayed in a tent site and they were maintained and it was convenient to a restroom facility. It was also not a long walk or bike ride to the wash house which had nice showers, temperature controlled restrooms and a laundry facility. Bathrooms are also co-ed, but that's not a big deal. It's convenient to I-75 and I-16, and there is a city about 15 minutes away with more restaurant options and a food lion (Ice and firewood). I would like to see the tent sites improved with maybe a dedicated tent pad, pea gravel or sand maybe as a base and somewhat level, but thats nit really a huge deal. Definitely will be coming back again soon.

People have been suggesting I visit this place for a couple of years now. 🌈 Seemingly conveniently located from i-75, but far away from anything and very secluded 😑 Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful property. Hundreds of acres. Hiking trails 🥾 Wonderful residents.🥰 Huge bar and stage building with a billiard table🎱. Bars and cafe only open Thursday through Saturday. (Limited hours) Only 2 dozen RV sites with hookups on this massive property, but it appears to be adequate. Only 2 washers and dryers. 🧺 And only 1 bathhouse🚿🚿. They do have some outside showers 🤭. Nice cabins and even a 4 room (separate) bunkhouse available for the budget visitors. Tenting ⛺is secluded up a hill in the woods 🌲 Speaking of in the woods, there is "Sugar Shack" cabin too😈

1st time ever staying there and will definitely come back. We rented the "park model" cabin (largest one) which was one open area with pull out couch, chair, and very small kitchenette, separate bathroom with good size shower and separate bedroom with room for a full size bed and some luggage. It was nice and did the job for the weekend. From ours we could see the pool/hot tub/bar area so we could see when it wasn't busy. Everything was clean and looked to be well taken off. The bar was very nice with a large stage and great sound system. We got to see two drag shows while we were there. The grounds, buildings , and facilities were very clean and well taken of. Everyone was really friendly and we met some great guys. Only complaints is the spotty WiFi which is to be expected when you're in the middle of nowhere and they need to update their website showing that the cafe is closed between Halloween and memorial Day. we drove into the next small town and got some groceries and dinner which was not a big deal but was expecting the cafe to be open.

So that was about a year ago and we have been back several times. They keep updating everything and really making it even better than it was. New pool liner, picnic tables, fresh paint and signs, and fiber internet is...

We visited Oz for the first time this past week. I can honestly say it was well worth the 7.5 hour drive from Virginia. Oz is huge! So much open space and offers quite an experience. The entire staff was so ooutgoing and friendly! William made the booking experience a breeze and once we got there, we did an upgrade on our accomodations. The pool is large and heated. The bar and restaurant are perfectly located by the pool The night club/bar is awesome since you never need to leave Oz! Does it get any better? No! I got a massage from Billy, which was perfect and very reasonably priced! I highly recommend. Only issue I had was being able to catch the WiFi. Oz would benefit from having a commerical MESH network installed to give the entire area coverage. But hey, if you have Verizon Wireless, you will have a working phone. I don't have Verizon, rather I have AT&T, which has terrible coverage. Of course, this has nothing to do with Oz, but I just wanted to put it out there and let those of us who have AT&T know that the coverage is less than desirable. Would we visit again? You Bet! Would I recommend? Of Course! Come check it out for yourself, I think you will enjoy your visit as...
