This review is somewhat long. I encourage you to read it to save your time and money. This resort is not a customer service resort.||My entire family stayed at the resort for my niece's wedding. The reception was beautiful! Our stay not so much.|I have 6 siblings who attended. Some I haven't seen in 15 years. We are spread out on the East coast. We arrived about 2 in the afternoon. Some of my family were downstairs in the restaurant. We joined them there. There were no other people in the restaurant. As the table filled up, the waitress wanted to add more tables, but was told by management, she could not. If there were more, they'd have to sit at other tables. We all departed because we didn't want to be separated. To be fair we are a large family. ||In the morning our family members went to breakfast in shifts. Some of us joined family in the restaurant and sat at their table. The dishes and food from the previous family breakfast were not cleared. The table went uncleared for over an hour. It seemed to be deliberate by the manager, Giovanni. He was extremely rude, nasty and wasn't happy we were patronizing the restaurant. It was extremely uncomfortable.||Later in the afternoon some of our family were in the restaurant and we started down the stairs to join them. Just as we got to the landing Giovanni run to the two hostesses on duty and told them not to add us to the table. We heard everything. He knew we were standing there. I looked over the railing and told him, no worries, we're not joining the family. He replied, you're welcome to join them. We said no we heard what you said.|My daughter and I went to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager. After 10 minutes, Chris the manager appeared. We explained our situation and for a customer service industry. Giovanni was severely lacking in that area. He also told us that Giovanni is the restaurants manager. We were shocked to find out that a manager treated customers so inappropriately.|Chris told us he would speak to him. We told him we would not be using the restaurant again and that we had 2 more days at the resort.|We were hungry, so we went to the second floor bar area and ordered a pizza. Paeton was our server. He was absolutely great. He engaged in conversations and went out of his way for us.|That's our dining experience.||Now, onto the hotel stay. To say the least, we won't stay there again. The room was not thoroughly cleaned each day. The toilet and floors were not cleaned during our stay. The pull out bed was broken. That's where my grandson had to sleep. After the first night, we left a note in the room asking for more mugs, glasses, towels and toilet paper. Our request went unanswered. The only toilet paper in the room was what was on the spool for 3 adults. We finally went to the front desk to have toilet paper added to our room. We were handed 1 roll to take back to the room.|There were absolutely no...

This is a very beautiful location, beautiful resort, and overall a nice area to be. I’ve had the pleasure to be here on numerous occasions for different medical seminars, to enjoy the golf course with my husband, and as of recently I made an attempt to enjoy their spa.. it is very difficult to get a hold of anybody when trying to reach the spa. That should have been my first red flag. I was very excited to come to this resort and enjoy a spa day with my sister for my birthday. I have gone to many spas and understand how quickly they can get booked. I made sure to try and reach someone with six weeks notice. I was never able to get a hold of anyone after numerous attempts throughout the week and throughout the days. I left two very detailed voice messages with my name why I was calling and a good callback number. Not once did anybody reach out to me in reference to my voicemail. Today I finally got a hold of somebody from the spa after multiple Transfers. The assistant manager, who goes by the name, Crystal answered, and her first question after I express the reason for my call was if I left a voicemail. I informed her I had left two detailed voicemails and she responds with how they normally always call back. I informed her I never received a call back to which she responds with “Maybe they were not able to leave a voicemail on your phone. “ That response left a very bitter taste in my mouth because it lacked accountability. She was unable to help me. We tried scheduling something for early July since originally I wanted something for June 28. We tried looking at a day that would could would have the services I was looking for, but unfortunately, the time did not work with my availability. After telling her that I would prefer a morning time she informed me she did not have anything and would not have anything for a while. This assistant manager, lacks empathy, accountability, and patient service skills. I work in healthcare, and if anything inconveniences my patient I will do my very best to ensure I can resolve the issue or that my patient at least feels like they were heard, and that we have taken full accountability for whatever miscommunication or error was made on our part. The fact that this assistant manager did not put much effort in accommodating me, working with what I needed, and was very quick to dismiss me, was very telling of the type of service I probably would have experienced had I gotten to book with this spa. I won’t be making a visit to this resort...

Came here to relax and celebrate an yearly occasion. First off I would not consider this a resort by any means. It is more like a regular hotel. It does have a golf course attached which is available to the guest and public. They also offer villas, but their website does not offer any significant details on pricing. Other amenities included an out door and in door pool, fitness room and spa. Didnt get to tryout or see the spa, as they were all booked up during my stay. There was no room service for cleaning. Citing COVID, you had to make your own bed and request trash pick up by leaving it outside your room door. Any thing that you needed, you had to call down to or go to the front desk for. The room was a king-size room. It featured a mini refrigerator and microwave. The bed was not all that comfortable and the pillows have seen days as they were so flat and had no life left in them they did not support your head when you slept. The shower was large an easily could fit 2-3 people at the same time. The double sinks were an added touch, but the stoppers did not work, so you could not fill them with water. This was a miss for me as I had to let the water run continuously while I shaved. The hotel dining was subpar. On going for breakfast, we had to sign up on a waiting list. We learned we need to have made reservations first. After a 15 minute wait, we received a text for breakfast. Upon entering the breakfast area, the hostess seated us, but then we were left to figure out if there was table service or help yourself. No one provided any information. We figured out it was buffet style with one omelet station and another table with boxed cereal, pastries and warmers that contained eggs, sausage and bacon, pancakes sliced chips potatoes or their version of hash browns. There was no bread, this was an extra charge of $1.00 per slice and it was only white or grain. Juice, coffee or tea had to be requested from the server. The cost of the breakfast was $14.00 per person plus tax, but over all was not worth it as the food was not even up to a good diners standard. While I will credit the staff as being friendly, this was not a resort type of hotel by any means. There is free parking and the grounds fair large due to the golf course. It this is your main reason to stay, this hotel will fill that purpose. However I have stayed at other hotels that have had much better amenities...
