Echo Lake is in the middle of nowhere, but that is one of the things I loved about it. We camped in the middle of August and only 4 other sites were occupied. The camp host went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and even delivered firewood to our site when we arrived late Sunday afternoon so we didn't have to drive back to town. Read moreThis is a great campsite! We stayed up here when we visited Voyageurs National Park. It was pretty spacious and since we went up in May when it was still a little chilly, it was really private. There were only 3 other groups there. It was VERY buggy, so come prepared. The blue jays in the area also like to talk in the morning. It has a nice beach and playground, and a dumpster by the boat landing. The toilets are pit toilets, but were in nice shape.
