First the good. The campground itself is neat with mostly level sites, fire ring and picnic table. Bathrooms were very clean and there are two hot water showers. Now the bad - as others have said the lake is empty, but worse is you cannot walk around the area or even access the day use area above the lake. And if that isn't enough, the beeping from the construction equipment was constant from 7am to past 7 pm. I'm convinced these guys only know how to work in reverse. Once the construction is complete and the lake restored I am sure this campground will be 5 stars..until then, it's fine for a stopover but I honestly wouldn't recommend it based on the construction...
Read moreStayed here on 3/22/2022. Snow on the ground yet and surrounding mountains. Roads were dry. Paved road to the campground and then gravel around the campground loop. It's dry camping so be preyfor that.our truck and trailer is a total of 43 feet there are several spots to fit that lemonade longer. There is a dump station nearby with fresh water available. Views are awesome. Second time we've been here. Plenty more information about the campground and park at Nevada's state...
Read moreGet there early. We arrived Friday at 12:30pm trying to beat weekend traffic. We barely got the last open campsite. The campground was clean, bathrooms were pretty clean too. It was a short walk to the lake which was great for us since we were fishing. Fishing was decent. We all caught something. Trout were medium size. Weather was awesome. One thing to note is that the picnic table at each site is not covered so you are in full sun. Best to bring...
