All the positive reviews-some of which go back years-are entirely accurate. This was an overnight spot for us and it was great..very well maintained sites that had fire rings, tables and barbecue stands. Other spots available for dispersed camping and no problem for bigger rigs. Roads were gravel, but smooth. No water available, but there is garbage pick up at the lower area. Loads of nice marked trails and beautiful night skies. Surprised at how quiet it was being just off the highway. (We used the upper area which is a little further) Pretty hot in July, but there was actually some shade, a breeze and cooler overnight. It is July, after all!

Stayed here two nights in our 30 ft RV towing a jeep while visiting Great Basin NP July 1-3. We stayed in the upper loop where there are 3 back ins and one pull thru. No trouble getting a spot although on our second night most spots if not all, were taken in both loops. Absolutely wonderful. Great views of the mountains. Well maintained roads and easy access for our rig. Very well maintained campsites with nice covered picnic tables, fire rings and cement patios. There are dumpsters located at the lower loop. One of the nicest BLM campgrounds we have seen.

This place is awesome! The sites are spacious. There’s no water or electric so pack your own and be prepared to dry camp. There is a pit bathroom. There’s also a fishing pond in the middle of the site. There are 6 sites with wooden awnings over picnic tables. They go pretty fast. Theres other places you could camp but those are the best sites. There’s also additional camping grounds up the road. So thankful for this space. Please make sure you leave it better than you found it. 🏕️

THANK YOU BLM! Excellent campground for an overnight or multiple day stay. Lots of OHV trails in this area, making it a great stay for those enthusiasts! We'll bring our toyhauler back here. Campsites are at both the lower and upper levels. If full, several dispersed sites can be found for the single vehicle traveler. I would not recommend towing a trailer on the 2-track roads. No water, but bathrooms and garbage are provided--pack it out from the upper sites and dispose of at the lower level. Verizon 4G 1 bar at the...
